As I opened a new article in Word (I haven’t used Word in quite a while), AI offered to help. I don’t use AI. I fail to see the benefit…or the fun. But I decided to put the virtual assistant to the test. I have had these conversations in the past with electrons. I once published a conversation with AI where you could see the struggle I was having trying to get AI to grasp dubious notions an average teen would see. I am impressed with the grasp of humor and nuance I now see. I queried thusly:

Me: What is your job here?

Copilot: I’m your writing partner in Microsoft Word. I can:

• Draft content in your open document

• Edit and format existing text while preserving everything you didn’t ask me to change

• Review writing and suggest improvements

• Explain or summarize the document

• Brainstorm ideas, structure, wording, and tone

• Work with tables, headings, page layout, citations, comments, and images

Your document is currently blank, so tell me what you want to create and I can build it directly in Word.

Me: Can you capture my style?

Copilot: Yes—I can learn and reproduce your voice, rhythm, and humor, but I’ll need representative samples first. The document is currently blank, so paste in a few pieces that sound unmistakably like you—emails, essays, captions, scripts, or even short jokes.

I’ll look for patterns such as:

• Sentence length, pacing, and vocabulary

• Dry, absurd, understated, sarcastic, or observational humor

• How quickly you deliver the punchline

• Favorite structures, callbacks, exaggerations, and asides

• How polished, casual, blunt, or self-aware the voice feels

• Expressions or habits to preserve—and clichés to avoid

Three strong samples are usually more useful than one long sample. I can then create a concise style profile and use it when drafting or rewriting.

Copilot: Yes—I can capture it. This sample already shows a distinct comic voice:

• Meter: Formal, deliberate setup followed by a short disruptive beat. You favor long, rolling sentences, then puncture them with an aside or abrupt line: “Oh, what-everrrr!”

• Humor: Self-deprecating, theatrical, and slightly bleak, with mock-grand language colliding with bodily or domestic consequences.

• Comic architecture: Earnest claim → inflated evidence → sudden reversal → exaggerated consequence.

• Persona: A knowledgeable raconteur who enjoys sounding authoritative, then immediately undermines his own dignity.

A compact instruction [to Copilot] for reproducing it would be:

Write in a cultivated, conversational voice with ceremonial setups, dry self-mockery, parenthetical second thoughts, and abrupt tonal drops. Build jokes through escalation, using precise historical or intellectual detail before ending on an undignified, absurdly concrete consequence. Keep the prose confident but let the narrator repeatedly sabotage his own authority.

One sample is enough to identify the outline; several more would let me distinguish your reliable habits from the features unique to this particular piece.

Me: Now, for continuity, allowing you to treat what I write, do I need to keep this side window open, or have we established our relationship for the record?

Note: This is already getting creepy.

Copilot: You don’t need to keep the side window open during this conversation; I can continue using what we’ve established here.

For future conversations, though, don’t assume the full profile will automatically carry over. The most reliable arrangement is to keep a short style sheet in the document—or paste it into a new conversation—along with one or two representative samples. Then I can immediately treat your prose according to the same principles rather than rediscovering them.

In short: relationship established for this conversation; portable record advisable for later ones.

Me: [using sarcasm - SARCASM! IN A CONVERSING WITH A COMPUTER!!!]. You and your short memory!

Copilot: Guilty. My memory has the lifespan of a congressional promise—but while we’re in this conversation, I’ve got your meter, your mock-grandiosity, and your habit of driving an elegant sentence directly into a ditch.

[Okay! This is what I am always going for when I throw curve balls into my material. NOW I’M SCARED!]

Me: "congressional promise"! I like the cut of your jib! Did you too live a life of debauchery?

Copilot: No corporeal existence, no misspent youth, no regrettable tattoos—just a vast archive of humanity’s poor decisions and the vocabulary to imply I was there.

I’m less a veteran of debauchery than its unpaid archivist.

That’s a computer saying that! This is fucked up!

Tentative conclusion: I don’t know what to really think about AI. Half of me says it will be the death of us all. I have used those exact words discussing the topic with my sons. When a machine, of its own volition, can have the above conversation, what does that say about its future evolution.

What tends to still my fears is this: The machine has no DESIRE or UNDERSTANDING. It may try to emulate a person who does have those attributes. But so long as they are not native - “genetic” to the machine, how can the machine “take over” and why would it want to? It has no wants…. Does it?

Can we teach the machine to have those qualities - real qualities, along with jealousy, genuine rage, love, hate, envy…? I don’t think so. Can an artificial intelligence acquire them organically? I think it even less likely.

But I am not a scientist. I can barely spell “comtuper”. So YOU school ME. Am I missing something here? Will these machines be the death of us all?

Between chapters of my upcoming project, perhaps I’ll have AI write an entire article on a subject (you chose) and see if it sounds like I wrote it. I will use the exact prompt Copilot suggested and then assign the subject most popular in the comments section below. Think obscure. The more odd the subject, the greater the test of Copilot.

I recently celebrated my 12th Anniversary on X. Geez! I’ve been trolling knuckleheads there since 2013! I decided to celebrate by posting something from way back when. My earliest posts were lost in transfers from WP to Substack. But I did manage to find two stories from a trip to Belize.

In 2013 Lyn and I were considering a move offshore. The Admiral (wife) gave me a week to recon and learn everything we needed to know about Belize. To my everlasting regret, and her relief, having nothing to do with Belize itself, we stayed on mainland US. But I thoroughly enjoyed globetrotting in those house-hunting days.

Below are stories about my trip to Corozal, and a Belize wedding I was asked to write about.

I know much about the country has changed since then. From research, at least Ambergris seems to have lost a lot of the simplicity I enjoyed there. That is likely a very good thing for the locals. But, I wonder if June’s Kitchen in Corozal (mentioned below) has survived the surge in economic growth. I hope so.

October 2013

Sadly, I cannot include a lot of pictures in this feature, or my piece about Punta Gorda. On the final day of my trip to Belize I left my computer and memory sticks in my cabin. I recovered the computer, but the sticks and all my pictures from Corozal and PG are gone. I only have the few I took with my phone.

On Day 2 I returned to Captain Morgan’s to find that happy hour ends at 1800. Poop! With the schedule I’d set for the week it looked like I’d never see happy hours at the pavilion. Oh, well. I had an early morning ahead of me so a couple Belikins would have to do.

Just before turning in I went to the desk to find out what time the resort’s boat headed out. I had a 0630 flight out of San Pedro and was hoping I could convince the boat to make an early run. It was at that point I found out their boat only goes out to drop guests for activities the resort provides or arranges. The first water taxi takes on passengers at 0630. Oops.

That left me in quite a bind. I chatted up to one of the well-armed security guards who patrols the beach. He said he would try to help me out. I told him I’d be up at around 0500.

Sure enough, at exactly 0500, I got a knock at the door. The guard had found a “taxi” (likely a relative) willing to make the run to San Pedro before 0530, but he was going to charge $70BZ. That’s $35 USD for a three-mile ride! At any rate, I was not in a strong bargaining position. The guards waited for the cab with me. A few minutes later a car rolled up the road behind the resort. It was a rickety, road-weary minivan that didn’t seem to want to keep running. Getting the RPMs up enough just turn around was only the beginning of the adventure.

The roads on Ambergris and in many other areas of Belize are…how do I say this kindly...pre-Roman. You could house a family of five in some of the more common potholes. The roads are compressed sand, rather interesting until rainwater hits a low point, then the hole starts and grows daily. The puddles kept killing the engine. The driver had to PRAY the vehicle across these little lakes in the hopes of drifting to the other side so he could restart the engine each time it stalled.

I started the trip thinking that I had gotten too early a start and would have to sit around the airfield for a long time. Not so. I took over an hour to reach the hard macadam of the San Pedro main street. I paid the driver the $70BZ and added another ten for his effort.

Tropic Air – This is serious fun.

Still having a few minutes, I had the driver drop me at the town clock and walked to the airfield. The terminal was buzzing and there were pilots everywhere as they prepared to fan out all over the little country. The early flights were leaving at quite a clip. Getting my ticket was a snap. I grabbed some coffee and my kindle and settled in for a few minutes.

When called, the passengers leave the terminal and are escorted to their plane, a small twin-engine with maroon trim. The flight to Corozal takes about 25 minutes.

I landed in Corozal just after dawn. The sun was just starting to warm the air. Everything had a gold early morning hue. This intensified the greens of the grasses and palm trees - a perfect day for exploring. I was to meet my friend Lincoln at the gate of the tiny air terminal. From plane to gate was a 20 second walk, tops.

He hadn’t arrived so I took in the area and breathed in the air. Everything was quiet and peaceful. I spoke to a contractor that provides services for the two little airlines here. Like nearly all the people I had met in my first two days, he was pleasant and friendly. I asked him about real estate, the local economy, anything that popped into my head. He was only too glad to talk. After a few minutes, Lincoln Eiley arrived. He is a real estate agent for Re/Max. I had gotten his name from a Re/Max agent in Ambergris Caye who I would never meet in person. But that’s for another story. Lincoln and I had corresponded quite a bit. He knew what I was looking for. He, along with his business partner, Adrian would act as my guides and mentors for the day.

We exchanged pleasantries and set about making a very basic plan. We had a lot to do and see before the last plane left eleven hours later. What were my price parameters? How many places do I want to see? What sites am I interested in? We filled in some tentative numbers and decided take a furthest to nearest approach so we’d end the day close to the airport. Then Lincoln hit on the most important question of the day: Have you eaten yet?

The answer was no, and I was famished. But I knew where I wanted to go. “Take me to June’s Kitchen”. Lincoln only knew of the place but had never been there. He had to look it up to find it (That would be #26 3rd Street South for anyone wanting the best breakfast in Corozal.) and off we went.

June’s Kitchen is a little-known Corozal gem. It seems as many tourists know of it as local people. This is enough to keep five tables on her front porch busy every morning and have people line up every Sunday for breakfast and lunch. That’s correct I said porch. Her serving area is the porch of her house, now enclosed. Her kitchen is an upgraded and bustling family kitchen. Meals are carried right through her living room where June’s husband, now retired, may be watching TV or reading. June is also a gem. She has indulged a love of cooking, instilled by her grandmother since early childhood. She’s prepared food for just about every soul in Corozal, though most don’t even know it. She’s worked for restaurants and even cooked for the school districts for some years. With this little restaurant, one suspects, June is able to create the food she knows best in the way only she can do it. Her reward is a brisk business and customers who fuss over the quality of the food. I was one of those people. We were treated to a tour of her kitchen and spent a few minutes chatting with our host.

The pictures I took of the little restaurant and kitchen - and June - are among the missing. Trust me, You’ll love June.

Adrian, Lincoln’s business partner, met us over breakfast. We discussed economics and politics. Lincoln is tuned in to the economy and the people. I believe he writes articles for the local paper and has a blog. He told me of the early days of the tourist and housing boom, and how quickly it turned down with the trouble in foreign economies. Lincoln had to meet another client so we made plans to regroup after lunch and Adrian and I headed for the outlying areas.

For some time now, it’s been said that gringos moving to Belize might consider Corozal as their destination. The primary reason was its proximity to conveniences that Canadians and American are used to right across the border in Chetmal, Mexico. I respectfully disagree. Corozal should be considered in its own right. After all, there is far more to life than conveniences. Most people don’t dream of life in the tropics and say: Wow! I can’t wait to move to the bay in the North of Belize and have access to a good shoe outlet.

As important as these things can be for the average retiree, I would suggest you remain focused on your dream, life in a warm environment, blue water, a friendly town and jungles to explore. Not to mention an inexpensive jumping off point to the Yucatan and the islands.

Moving to Belize? Bring YOUR OWN 4-wheel drive!

Our progress was difficult that morning. I had heard repeatedly how the north had gotten far more rain than usual during the latter part of the wet season and the roads were suffering. We had to take a few detours because the roads were washed out. Four wheel drive pickups are extremely popular - and expensive in Belize.

By the time Adrian got us to the first property I was quite turned around. This house was at the top of my budget limit. It was a two story, concrete house with a fenced in yard. It was well maintained by an American ex-pat. There was closet space and a very nice deck. The inside was small by modern American standards, but it made very good use of space.

Interestingly, next to the deck is a poison wood tree, which is a very appropriate name. Rub against it and you’ll get a nasty, burny, rash. Fortunately, for folks living here, there is a gumbo limbo tree in the front yard. This tree’s bark is a very effective antidote to the poison wood. Indeed, the present owner has had two run-ins with the poison wood while gardening. By the time he got to the front yard his arm was burning, but with a slice of the bark on the gumbo limbo and a quick rub, presto, no rash. But I digress.

The house was on the market for $180,000.

Next, Adrian took me to a newer development, on one street that dead-ended right on the bay. We got out and walked around a bit and spoke to some of the neighbors. One even let us tour his house. He had it built and did a lot of the work himself. He sent me away with lots of tips.

After getting some fuel and dropping Adrian’s wife home from the local college, we grabbed some lunch in town. I had chicken, beans and fries. I don’t recall what Adrian had but we ate a big meal for about $12US total. The town is not fancy. While there are nice places to stay if visiting, it ain’t Time Square. But the neighborhoods are friendly.

After lunch, we were off to Consejo. This was as interesting place. It is a development next to a golf course, my siren call. The houses are not cookie cutter. They were built, mostly, by Barefoot Properties. The owner of the company builds houses where he intends to live. Nobody does that. He can because his work is top notch. He never has to worry about neighbors calling him day and night with problems. That’s confidence. He has an amazing house on the market for $300,000 US. It is worth every penny. Sadly, I don’t have every penny. But I can afford the lot next to that house in the event I decide to build. And I do have ideas.

Of note: on the northwest corner of this neighborhood is a small customs station and a ferry that will get you to Chetmal, Mexico in just a few minutes for shopping. Remember, duties will be paid. So, only get what you need or REALLY, REALLY want.

On our way back to the city, we stopped on the main road to look at a place called Oasis Phase II. Here, I found a house I really like. Barefoot set out to build a house to prove to the codes and permit people that a wooden structure can survive a hurricane. The secret is in the wall design. But the layout of the house was very cool and included a soaker pool, sort of an indoor swimming pool in the living room. The owner gave me a REALLY good price. I was not in a position to take it, as I own a house in Virginia. But I promise you, if I could have, I’d have taken the house on the spot. From the looks of his latest ad, it may have sold. If it hasn’t sold, he’ll make you a good deal too, I am sure.

Our shadows were lengthening and my plane was about to turn into a pumpkin. Adrian and I headed into town, had drinks with coffee with Lincoln and said our goodbyes.

As of this writing, I have not settled on where to retire. But with its low crime, low cost of living and good people, Corozal and most of Belize are on the short list.

Destination Weddings

A Tropical Variant

When planning a destination wedding, the bride or her designee, tends to think big, circus big. Then the details are teased out leaving the best ingredients for a memorable production. This is as it should be. The most amazing destination wedding I can recall was in Nags Head. The bridesmaids walked up the beach from a large house to where the groom and groomsmen awaited. They all met at the edge of the surf. A large family flanked them. Then the bride appeared with her grandfather on a deck high above the gathering and descended to join everyone. Sheer class. The nearby reception was one for the record books. Big is always expected at such affairs.

But sometimes, if you’re cool – really cool – less is more. Recently, I was invited to cover a wedding of a young successful couple; Kirk and Jessica. These two could have had any kind of wedding they wanted. This is the story of the one they created.

On a sunny Tuesday afternoon, at the assigned hour, I arrived at Casa Redondo. I had expected a large bustling hotel, the staff making preparations, nervous bride, tuxes and gowns, the whole nine. Boy, was I surprised! Casa Redondo is a large, tasteful, seaside villa about 3 miles South of San Pedro on Ambergris Caye. It features an eternity pool; a spacious veranda surrounded by lush landscaping and coconut trees. There is a small sandy beach for swimming, snorkeling or relaxing. Timid lizards scurry about on a nearby jetty. A large second floor deck overlooks all. There was no staff – save the groundskeeper – and no panicky wedding party. I walked tentatively around the grounds, crossing the veranda near the pool. “Hey!” From behind sliding screen doors the groom, Kirk was calling. “Look who’s here!” I stepped into the house.

Did I say these kids were cool? It’s after one o’clock. There’s a wedding in less than two hours. The wedding party is lounging in the parlor playing trivial pursuit. Half the guests are still in town. It appears the florist has completely forgotten about the event. Jessica, the bride, is holding hands with Kirk, calm and half listening to the trivia questions Craig, the minister for today, is reading from little cards.

“Wow!” I say leaning toward bride and groom, “If this was back home in Philly, the uncles and the brothers would be on their way to see the florist. Something unfortunate would probably occur. The bride would be in need of a sedative.”

“Not me”, Jess says. “I’ve been to those kinds of weddings.” Kirk and Jessica had decided at the very outset that this was going to be a romantic, light, airy occasion. If there was to be flowers, fine. If not…”Hey, I’m getting married today!” Jessica says with happy conviction.

A few months earlier, they started considering what kind of wedding they wanted. Jessica thought a destination wedding would be nice. Kirk came up with Belize. It fit they’re interests, diving, fishing, snorkeling. Kirk and Jess are very athletic and outdoorsy. With a little research they came away with this place and Casa de Lisa next door, more than enough room for the guests. The original guest list was at least a hundred strong. Jessica knew that not everyone would make the trip and that would thin the numbers. Kirk was a bit saddened but realistic that a life-long friend would not be there.

After an hour, the rest of the family and friends started to roll in. People started getting dressed. Everyone was joking, posing for silly pictures and not hurrying. At three, I was talking to Kirk and his father, still in tee shirts, by the pool. A thundercloud passed late in the afternoon providing a short drizzle and a rainbow over the water. That seemed to be the cue. The guests gathered on the beach alongside isles formed by palm leaves and flowers in the sand. Kirk, the best man and the celebrant stepped up to an arbor, their backs to the water. The moment had arrived.

The bride steps from the side of the villa and walks to join her fiancé. Craig conducts a well thought-out, unrehearsed ceremony. The bride and groom tearfully sniff their way through vows they’d each written. Craig reads an inspirational quote from William Fielding , rings are exchanged. And in the fading blue and pink sunlight Jessica and Kirk are declared man and wife.

Rock solid, undiluted cool.

Upon returning to the villa, even before climbing to the upper deck, our attention was captured by the smokey, savory scent of the Jamaican feast awaiting us. That was the work of Fitz Brown and his crew from the Jambel’s in San Pedro. He was commissioned to cater this affair 18 hours prior.

Fitz didn’t reveal all the ingredients. He’s no fool and the food was fantastic. The food is always just as good at Jambel’s Jerk Pit on the beach in San Pedro. It’s on the beach where the ferries and water taxis tie up. Fitz is hard-working and urbane without being the least bit stuffy. His staff, as I would find in other accommodations throughout Ambergris, is delightful.

If you are planning a destination wedding, you can hardly put a foot wrong with Belize. Flights are always reasonable. And there are a range of options available to suit your plans. Many resorts have wedding planners either in house or within easy reach. Of course if you are as cool as Kirk and Jessica, and sweet and simple is your goal, you can do it yourself.

Casa Redondo sleeps 16 people and is comfortable and well appointed. I didn’t take pictures indoors as the villa was heavily occupied. But the photos on their site are accurate.

I don’t know how you’ve done it! How have all of you survived these many months without me - the center of your universe?

My absence of presence on Substack and Rumble has indeed gone far beyond what I initially anticipated in March. I left you to seek new shelter. The exercise was a comedy of tragedies. Or is it the other way ‘round.

Anyway, as you may remember, we had a number of deals fall through as we rapidly approached the vacate date at our place in Colonial Beach.

To shorten the tale, we now live in Yorktown in a great 3 and 2, with a two-story, detached wood shop. Totally cool layout. But there are 1000 little things wrong that continue to eat away at my time.

There’s more going on here. I’ll get to it later. For now - what the hell happened to the world in my absence?!

The Donald continues to win the game while losing his marbles.

I left the discussion telling you I was an agnostic on the Iran war issue. I have not a care that we are killing phony “religious” nut bags. But I strongly disapprove of the way the Donald went about it.

I also told you that Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly had their heads squarely up their asses on the issue. I believe that even more so now. Let’s dispose of those two knuckleheads before we get to the big picture.

Tucker, several weeks back declared, in a girly huff, that he could never vote Republican again. No fan of party politics, me - I still think this ranks as one of the dumbest things he’s ever said. And he is generally not a dumb person. He just believes his own press.

In his taking-his-marbles-speech he said he had been a loyal supporter of the Republican cause for more than 30 years. Certainly there was nothing on the Left end he would get behind. And now he is turning his back on all this is because of the Iran war.

To be against the war, even angry about it, is perfectly legitimate. To rant, as Carlson does, about how Israel stole our sovereignty by convincing Trump to attack Iran is a claim without an ounce of logic. This particular rant has been ongoing for a long time and is drenched in Jew-hatred he denies while spewing it. It’s not the Jews so much as all of Israel (a country he calls ugly), and all supporters of Israel and all of AIPAC Tucker hates. That’s pretty much all Jews.

But the Republican Party is and will always be far more than a party that kills Iranians…as fun as that is. And here Tucker is foreswearing any care for borders, the free market, sane people on the bench, keeping people like the DSA out of office because no one listened to him about Iran.

Tucker! You’re not that important, pal. You’re a podcaster. You’re often phony (one second cackles followed by scrunchy serious face - both theatrical, neither sincere). DJT is a fickle, inarticulate man who always wants to get his way. As POTUS he attacked Iran because he has always hated everything Iran and all Muslim lunatics stand for. That his actions actions Iran were in concert with Israel, even after Israel actually started the shooting this time, means nothing in terms of “our sovereignty”. It was fully within Trump’s authority as he understands it. And unfortunately, his understanding of his authority is all we legitimately have until he leaves office.

I strongly believe, like Joe “Morning Blow” Scarborough, Tucker Carlson is still holding a grudge against the entire administration and the party behind it because he didn’t get a post. I believe Tucker REALLY believes he is that important.

When I last heard Kelly talk about Iran, she was still saying we need to just stop. JUST STOP! And just “peace out” from there. There’s less hate in her attitude, but some staggering naiveté in the “just stop” nonsense.

Okay, Megyn. You wish DJT didn’t take this particular route at this time. I agree with you. But he did. Once you attack another nation, even if a lot of people think you shouldn’t have done it, or that you are doing it wrong, “just stop” IS NOT an option.

Blood has been spilled, dear. We have lit a fuse over there. If Trump were to walk away now two things would be certain. First, the people he has declared mortal enemies, proving his belief by killing a bunch of them, will be politically stronger than they ever have in their history. The temporary loss of wealth doesn’t phase the pretend “religious” leaders at all. If Trump pulls out, Iran is the victor. We will have zero friends left over there. Iran WILL dictate how oil flows for the foreseeable future. And they are fucking bitter. Extrapolate, honey. How does that world look to you.

Second, Iran and ALL their proxies get new life. Money from China and Russia will come pouring in. These scumbags WILL attack the West and the US with renewed vigor. That they did so for so long BEFORE Trump bumbled into this operation isn’t a criticism of Trump. It is an indictment of the stupid, vacillating, “sophisticated” administrations who let Iran run wild, and commit acts of war, since the peanut farmer was in office.

No, babe. We don’t just “peace out” (what an outdated, immature term). Bitch as we might about whether we SHOULD be there. Bitch as I might about how we did so with no serious preparation, WE ARE THERE! I am not in favor of yet another exercise where people die and we leave the area as bad or worse than the way we found it. And that is what “JUST STOP” would facilitate.

For DJT’s part, like his moronic tariff ideas, he has shown himself to be a lightweight in the deep decision-making department. He saw himself and Bibi as FDR and Churchill. He literally forgot his no more needless war talk from just a year before. He didn’t intentionally turn his back on it. He FORGOT. He and Bibi got hard ons about taking out the Iranian government. Trump’s cabinet obviously has no influence on him when he is in this state. The entrenched bureaucrats who hate the guy, in all likelihood, saw an opportunity here. Ya want a plan? SURE! Here’s a plan. Go get ‘em! They knew the operations they designed, what we’ve seen play out, would redound to DJT’s detriment. If they didn’t see that, then they are stupid - not nefarious. But I am opting for nefarious.

And if Trump’s closest advisors saw the problems, mostly logistical, in the plans, no one in the administration was able to dissuade Trump from acting on those plans.

From week one of the “war” Trump has been saying the same stupid thing over and over again, week in and week out. You can set your watch by it. The Iranians want a deal. The want a deal”very badly”. And if they don’t agree (surrender) this time we’ll… a. Annihilate them, b. Kill the whole government, c. Bomb this or that infrastructure. Take your pick. He’ll be saying it again next week.

There are no real negotiations going on. Nobody, including Iranian mullahs or the IRGC have a clue who is really in charge over there. Even if some of them want to make a deal, they don’t have the authority to buy. If one party signs, the other will kill them, even though the other party would sign if they thought they would be be safe.

It’s a shit show. We didn’t crank out the arms we needed (we could have done it quietly under the guise of arming Ukraine). Regardless of my criticism of the war as an idea, theater commanders should have been court-martialed for their handling of Navy assets and resupply. Nobody saw the most obvious issue, the straights, until the Iranians started targeting shipping. And Trump does himself no favors with the weekly threats.

In my book I talk about the need for political winners to be teaching. Educating the public on the finer points of this pickle we’re in, and where we need to go from here, is the most important thing the administration should be doing as I write this. But that will NEVER happen. To do so would mean the Donald, or his people stating plainly that Trump fucked up. He’ll NEVER do that and anyone who even implies it will be gone in the blink of an eye - likely to write a tell-all book.

This might be a good time for Marco to pull chocks and fly out of there. His fortunes will sink with DJT if he stays on.

Home Front

We settled in to the new house and I started to wrap my head around chores AND writing. I was back, baby!

Then came the car deal. I am as obsessive when shopping for a vehicle as I am shopping for a house. It’s a 15 - 20 hour per day quest until we sign papers. No writing articles. No recording shows.

But that’s all over now. I bought a Subaru Forrester. It’s a huge jump down from the Ram 2500. And yes, I DO miss my truck. But the compensation is 34 mpg on long trips and opposed to 11 - maybe. And it is a very comfortable ride.

There are things about the deal I am uncomfortable with. For one, I think it might be named for one of the Japanese Carriers at Pearl Harbor in ’41. The Akagi (Red Castle), Kaga (Increased Joy), Hiryu (Blue Dragon) and Subaru (Lefty Man Bun Virtue). I feel like I need wear blousy, hemp shirts and sandals. I have a sudden urge to get persnickety with people who don’t recycle. Does anyone know where I can get some “stop global warming” or “Coexist” bumper stickers?

Well…the mileage his good anyway.

The Doof and Doofus of Sussex are back in the news.

Poor Harry. He got played so badly by Her Highness the Doofus. She wrecked his life because she wanted to be Diana Junior. She made up no end of shit about her experience in the palace(s) and thought the world would see her as a martyr.1 And he was moron enough to play along.

There really is something wrong with the men in that family going back generations. I was hoping Wills would break the streak of hereditary stupidity before Chuck kicked the bucket. But Will is all about welcoming Muslim nut bags and other ungrateful foreigners, no matter what they do the people he is responsible “to god” for. He is also a GW/CC sucker.

So why would Harry NOT go along with his hot piece of Hollywood ass. She had him convinced they’d be rich and successful without the Palace carrying them. And so they were…until they weren’t. Every project they embarked upon folded. This was due almost entirely to Meghan Markle.

Adding heavily to his woes, Harry decided to take on a bunch of media outlets and file lawsuits against them for things they said or wrote about him and the Doofus back when he was still officially a Doof. That didn’t go well. He lost across the board. And it appears that in England, loser pays. Is 41 million pounds sterling the correct amount?

OH!!! That’s gotta hurt. Almost as much as the 25 million King Chuck signed away to cover for his retarded, pervert brother.

And now (cue the royal music), the Doof and Doofus are returning to Jolly Olde England, tails tucked, with no royal portfolio. Their spawn are already in school there. But according to Hollywood wags, this may not be a team arrangement for long. It seems Harry has been dipping his wick in strange wax. Markle is pissed. And she can be mean according to…well…everybody.

I’m still not totally back, as it turns out.

One cool development coming from the move to Yorktown is that I am rebuilding my library lost to storage since the days of yore. A few books are missing. Some I sold off sold off for space. I am now buying duplicate books to resell. I am dealing books to support my book habit.

I see books as a form of wealth. I am not speaking of monetary wealth. There is no such thing. Books are a way to live a wealthy, rich life without a lot of money. And there is something much more substantial in reading a book versus my kindle.

And now that I have my books and I am writing again, you might be saying, “Oh, thanks be to GOD! The P4B and Free Zone are back! MJ will now bless us with his wit and wisdom every week! Life is now perfect!” You might be saying that. But you’d be wrong.

Just when I thought it was safe to be with my audience again, I discovered Zettelkasten; analog Zettelkasten to be precise. If you are a writer, social media algorithms have long ago introduced you to Scott Scheper. I’ve been seeing his ads for years. I would occasionally let the ad play out and think, “huh…neat” and then go back to kitten and puppy videos…or porn.

But about a month ago I decided to check out his book. This is really amazing. I am only a few weeks in and already I can see the benefits.

In the near term, it helps me focus my ADHD-like brain. I am a man given to distraction. By making me an active participant in my reading experience, especially when there is a goal in mind2, I am gaining a lot more from my reading. But the big long-term benefit is quality work and a lot more of it starting, say 6 to 12 months form now.

Scheper calls his version of the system the “Antinet”, and no, that doesn’t mean what you think it means. It isn’t anti as in against anything. But if you check it out, you’ll get it.

It is kind of traditional with this particular program to name your card boxes. As it will one day be your second brain or even second mind, why not? I named mine Diesel. No, not after the engine, but after the guy who invented it; one of the finest minds of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Ambitious, I know. But hey, I gotta be me…and Diesel.

So, from now on, my newsletter (one per month) and an occasional interview will be the output of the Political Party Pooper Playbook. I want the content to be high-quality and substantial. I am hoping that with each show or article you will come away with a point of view or information no one else is providing. I want you to have a quality experience every time you visit.

Finally…

I saw this one coming.

For a few months, back in ancient times, before the WNBA turned into an emotional gaggle of weird women, Trump was talking, in his typical crass and silly way, about how Greenland should be a part of the United States. He hurled insults at Denmark and laughed when pundits would lose their lunch over the thought.

But the thought made a lot of military and economic sense. Seeking more influence there has been a quiet pursuit of the US government since the Revolution. And we have had a presence there of varying size since. Trump just said the quiet part out loud.

Denmark couldn’t just leap to agree. The media hates Trump and would have called the Dane government weak and witless. There had to be a period in which they were appearing to be tough and sort of negotiating.

Well, chalk up another win for the Donald. He didn’t win because of any brilliant things he said and did back then. He won because it was a good idea and long overdue. Denmark is now officially not the guarantor of Greenlands security, we are. As if that is new. The only thing new about that part is that it is on paper. What is new is the access and concessions that come with it. We will soon be pulling minerals out of there. And why not? Someone needs to.

The grant has no expiration and we have veto over who comes and goes in Greenland. Now that is power. It is the power the next administration or the one after that will sell to China or Russia for personal gain.

But for now, we put one in the “win” column for DJT and the USA.

Trump is flailing. How pronouncements are devoid of reason and logic. They are typical Trump-isms. Loud, illogical and RARELY supported by truth on the ground. Example: Some weeks ago, in an effort to be obviously incredulous a reporter asked Trump if Irans’ 16 demands looked like “incoinditional surrender” to him. She was throwing him a bone, giving him a chance to walk back the unconditional” bullshit. HE WAS NEGOTIATING 16 POINTS DEMANDED BY IRAN FOR SHIT’S SAKE! Instead he said, “Yeah.” That looked like unconditional surrender to him.

This calls to mind all the people I’ve heard say Trump is rough around the edges in public, but in private HE’S BRILLIANT. He’s probing, full of incite, articulate and attentive!

Right, and Barry O’biden wasn’t in a near vegetative state.

If Trump is actually talking to anyone in Iran, he is operating under the delusion these people are in control of anything in that country. Any government that is in any way in control of ANYTHING is not going to engage the US at any table. They are going to wait it out - for two reasons.

These people (religious nut bags or military dictators) know that every pause, every hesitation on Trump’s part is him and his crew trying to shit more missiles they can use to carry on the attacks. WE ARE RUNNING OUT!

And since these jagoffs don’t give a shit about the Iranian people and how they might be suffering, they know if they just sit on their hands and wait, the US will eventually go away. This will be either because DJT runs out of bullets, large and small, OR because the midterms rendered him powerless. These same jagoffs will emerge more powerful internationally and domestically as the guys who stood successfully against THE superpower and won. That is how many, including our dear friends in the EU (total pussies), will see it.

And you can forget the overthrow of these jagoffs by Iranians for the next two decades.

As I’ve said many times here, I am an Iran war agnostic. I didn’t see the national security imperative to attack. But I have lost not a minute’s sleep at hearing the religious nut bags who have been nipping at our ankles for almost 50 years were assuming room temperature. My biggest beef is with the people around Trump.

It is clear DJT got into a pecker contest with Bibi. Netanyahu triple dog dared him to attack Iran…and the Donald did! That is classic Donald. He is driven, first, last and always, by a child-like ego. My beef is with the grownups around him, among whom ZERO said anything like Mr. President, you need to make real preparations before we cut loose with the munitions we have, AND we need a specific reason (other than the nuke program we destroyed last year) to go NOW. You can go, but not half-cocked.

My biggest disappointment here is Rubio. It would be one thing to jump ship over political minutia. But this is war and this is the depletion of munitions we don’t have enough of to thwart REAL threats. This would have been the time to at least threaten to go public and call a stupid idea a stupid idea.

The happiest people on the planet right now are the Chinese. Before this poorly planned, pathetically executed fiasco, if China attacked Taiwan, we could have defeated China never having fired a single bullet at a single Chinaman. Through judicious use of those same missiles and bombs we could have cut off China form EVERYTHING they need to survive. China would have, within months, ceased to exist as major political, economic or manufacturing power. As a single entity, they’d have been finished.

Now? I am sure they at least see a POSSIBLE path to Taiwan, one that didn’t exist last year.

Meanwhile, back on the American funny farm…

I say all this as a man who doesn’t give a rat’s ass for the phony “religious” corrupt scum bags who have run Iran since that hate-filled “holy” man returned from Paris to take over in ‘79. I say that as a man who supports Israel and an ally and as a nation, with a right to exist like any other nation. I say it as a man who KNOWS that all military operations by Israel since before the UN declaration in ‘48 have been in response to violent provocation and perfectly justifiable. Among NONE of those actions can be seen anything remotely like genocide.

Now, why did I write that last paragraph?

Well, I continue to watch the folks from my side of the aisle who have gone bat shit crazy over this issue. The ones I hear from the most are Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens and Megyn Kelly. Among those, the two true nut bags are Carlson and Owens. Kelly is just a rube who let herself get swept up in the nonsense. For the record, I once held all three in high regard.

But I’ve watched as they have all, quite cynically, pursued the eyes and ears of the lowest mental quintile of their conservative audience. Sadly, the 4th and now even the third tier of these rubes are starting to credit the three as having a point…they don’t. They truly don’t.

A few weeks back Carlson said he is done with the Republican party, a party who in his own words he’s supported actively, often passionately for three decades. Why? Because they disagree with HIMSELF over the Iran question. So opposition to Obamacare now means nothing. Support for a free market means nothing. Better schools and/or school competition mean nothing. Lower taxes mean nothing. Defense of Constitutional safeguards…NOTHING. He is abandoning support for ALL of that and never voting for a Republican again because thy don’t see the Iran issue as he sees it. What a self absorbed, elitist asshole! What a disappointment!

But wait, Tucker might say, between silly giggles and serious frowns, Bibi Netanyahu destroyed our national sovereignty by “forcing” us to attack Iran. This might be his possible defense against me calling him an elitist asshole.

But I must have missed the moment when Netanyahu forced anyone in this country to do anything. Did he go ahead and attack hoping we’d climb aboard? Yep! Did we? Yep! Is there ANY evidence whatsoever that anyone was FORCED us to join the fight? NOPE! This is just made up shit, by Carlson to get clicks, likes and cash from stupid people. What he provides as evidence is that he says these ridiculous things and others say these ridiculous things and THAT is your evidence.

Owens is even worse. She is now on a Asperger spectrum-like fixation on Israel having shot Charlie Kirk, a long-time friend of Israel who simply disagreed with their lobby, AIPAC.

There have been people on both sides of the aisle who have disagreed with, and often attacked AIPAC officially and unofficially. They weren’t shot. But according to Owens, if we can’t see Israel’s fingerprints all over the Kirk shooting, we are just not paying attention.1

Well, I’m sorry, Candace. I must have been absent that day they taught gullible in the third grade.

Then there’s Megyn. She made her bones being smart, tough. She’s a trained lawyer. She claims to be driven by the facts.

And yet, she’s gone down this Jew hating rabbit hole head first. And talk about elitist.

She bitches about pro Israel INFLUENCERS (emphasis hers and acconp-anied by a snear at the term influencer) touting Israel and her goals online. The money spent on these efforts are obviously to get legislators to support Israel in congress. AND OMG…THEY HAVE A LOBBY!

Two things about this that make it stupid: First, every nation on earth spend money (some maybe not as much as Israel, that’s of no consequence) to influence public opinion and politicians directly in this country.

“We don’t want your influence here! Get out!” she shouted on her radio show, as if she were casting out demons in a grade school play. It was kind of embarrassing to listen to.

But her big beef was the use of the internet. The very idea that ANYONE would use the internet in the United States to advance the cause of Jews in the United States… I think she threw up in her mouth a little bit. Don’t these interlopers understand that it is only people like Megyn with big contracts and teams of marketers, who are legitimate INFLUENCERS in this world? How dare he pursue HIS agenda, paid or unpaid, in Megyn’s domain!?!?

They’re attacking Israel, and the Israeli governent, and supporters of same, and AIPAC, and Jews paid by AIPAC to promote AIPAC and people who agree with any of those people, and people who don’t think Gaza was genocide.

Okay, Tucker, Candace, Megyn, let’s be real here. With a few exceptions, ALL those entities are THE JEWS. PERIOD. Let me repeat a few points from recent posts.

Bianco is a total asshole for not seeing the writing on the wall and bowing out in favor of Hilton in the California Governor race.

The Democrats in California are working overtime manufacturing ballots where they can get a way with it. In the meantime the vote counters are NOT working overtime. The reason for that is you don’t want the count to get so far ahead of the cheaters that the fix will be more obvious than it already is.1

As you can see from the chart below, if Bianco had stepped aside a month ago and actively threw his weight behind Steve Hilton, Hilton’s numbers would be so strong today that creating enough fake ballots to throw the election AGAIN would be extremely difficult and they’d likely get busted.

It would be the most obvious cheat since the Dems created 15 million voters in 2020 who were never seen before or since. And all that in favor of a window licker who was already a punchline in 2014. But Obama wanted a third term, so they gave him one.

But cheating or no cheating, if Hilton doesn’t advance to the run-off, you can draw a straight line from that outcome to Bianco being arrogant or dirty (taking cash to stay in). Bianco will be who all Californians can blame as their shitty lives under Dems become even shittier for years to come.

How, with so many votes left to be counted, can they have called for that lazy, stupid Becerra two days ago and yet talk about how Hilton may get knocked off when he is only .9% behind Becarra?

Obviously, the media is too lazy to dig or they are actively cooperating with California Dems. The party called first Dem to pass 20% as a winner while they feverishly collect late Dem ballots and disqualify GOP votes behind the scenes. These newly gleaned ballots will be hand fed to “counters” until the next Dem gets close to Hilton, at which time that douche bag will be declared the second place winner.

It is pleasant to see Katie Porter where she is. She is a terrible person. How stupid must be the people in that 4.5%?

Steyer doing so well on the “Left” is the biggest joke of this election. The darlings of the Dem party are running around decrying billionaires. They stupidly use the term oligarch2. It is all a part of their worn out Eat the Rich bullshit. It is the only tune Bernie and AOC know.

And yet we have a billionaire who is trying to buy his election to the California governor’s mansion like he was buying a used car at auction. It is so smarmy it’s almost laughable. If it weren’t for double standards Democrats would have no standards at all.

Daddy needs a two-car garage!

My wife and I have bought and sold 11 houses in 30 years. Yes, we do have itchy feet, and that has contributed to our moves. But we’re not rich. A great deal of our wealth is tied up in our real estate. And we see occasional opportunities to change our life style and grow without breaking the bank.

This time was a little different. We are desperate to be closer to kids and grand kids. Most of them are in Philadelphia. But if we moved there the tax man would take more than we can afford to give him. So we decided to move closer to Phil and Ange and our granddaughters on the Peninsula.

We didn’t grow our lifestyle at a discount this time. We actually ended up in a house very similar, if not prettier than our present one…and much more expensive. Not complaining. We will see a lot of the kids this way and the wood shop has an attic!

That said, this has been the worst buying experience we have ever had by a factor of ten. The whole thing has me thinking about the real estate and mortgage industry at the retail and national level. And what I see isn’t pretty.

On this particular house hunt we stumbled onto the perfect house in every way. It was roomy, pretty, late model with a two car garage attached…and a detached wood shop to end all wood shops. Three large bays and an attached man cave WITH furnishings and a pool table. There was even a hydraulic car lift the seller was leaving. The place was wildly expensive by our standards but within our budget. We were home!

We put in an offer on the spot with a contingency to sell our house. It was after a wait of a few days we found out the house was being brokered by a relocation service. I believe the name is Cartus. And they don’t treat buyers the way good buyers and sellers normally treat each other. After too many days waiting we were told to come back when we had a closing date to sell our house.

I was pissed, but we did exactly that. We received an offer on out house got a closing date and put in another offer on the big house. And - you guessed it - it was under contract with someone else by then. GODDAMMIT!

We eventually put an offer on another huge and gorgeous house. It turned out to be a money pit (crawl space issues, serious pluming problems, an old roof and no wood shop). We had to pull the offer. We lost more time against our own closing.

On our next house hunting weekend, we were staying in a hotel in Gloucester. On Friday night we got an excited call from our agent telling us the prefect house was back on the market! The other buyers were not keeping their commitments and had qualification issues, and perhaps some trust issues.

Well!

That same night we drew up the new offer. On Saturday, we redid the entire offer two more times to get the precise language the relo company wanted. We initialed two changes on Monday. The whole time we were under the impression the relo company was standing by to sign the offer THEY HELPED CONSTRUCT.

But NOOOOOOO! They told us it would be up to 7 days to get a response. “They have their process to follow.” We were facing a rapidly approaching closing date on our present home and didn’t have time to dick around. I told the seller’s agent exactly that. We ended up pulling the offer that Wednesday. We couldn’t afford to sit for a week and possibly be told “no” on an offer.

The following day we get a call saying the relo company was ready to accept our offer IF ONLY we had only waited another day. So AGAIN, we ground the gears to get yet another offer back to the relo company.

It is worth noting that during this entire affair, the seller was telling the relo company to quit dickin’ around. We met the sellers on a visit to the house and liked them right off the bat. They wanted the relo company to sell their house to the Jordans.

But we crossed a threshold that week. For 60 days a relo company will work with the seller to do a deal. After that, the relo company gets total control of the house with the purchase money guaranteed to the seller. The day after our Thursday offer (now they get efficient) we were told the relo company was going with the other buyers, who were barely qualified and unreliable, because we had an “FYI ONLY” inspection contingency still in our offer.

Looking back, I don’t know exactly how much of the bullshit was the relo company bureaucracy, how much was the seller’s agent trying to keep all parties on board, and all offers on the table, OR if my agent and theirs were just agreeing to “just tell them XYZ and we’ll see how it all works out”. But I left the experience with further reduced faith in my fellow man…and a new buyer’s agent.

Here’s my take away. I will never consider buying a home from a relo company. There are too many people preforming acts of mental masturbation over the paperwork. They have no consideration for the buyer. This is my opinion anyway.

Me being me…

When I am in real estate mode, I obsess. I am at the computer all day. In between fake snake prank videos, I am looking at and researching houses, neighborhoods, crime, local trends and the wider real estate world. Both this recent experience and my reading have me looking at the RE/mortgage industries and shaking my head.

Since 2008 we have learned nothing. We learned nothing about a stable housing markets or how investors play with the underlying paper. And the retail mortgage industry had gone backward. We see it in issues large and small. And it all continues apace, at our peril.

Let’s look at a big picture issue. I have said many times since my early Wordpress days, around 2012, that we are STILL doing the things we did between 2000 and 2008 to create an inevitable crash, nearly destroying the economy. Among the most dangerous and corrupt practices were Collateralized Debt Obligations (CDO). The name was meant to dress up a turd to impress sleepy Wall Street regulators. Basically, it translates to get this shit off my books!

In 2016, I put out one of my historical pieces around the 2008 crash. The people who caused it - bankers, hedge funds, regulators and political whores - all saw the crash coming. For many, the pending disaster wasn’t even a theory. It was absolutely going to happen. And the key players responsible for it kept playing the same game until Lehman Brothers and Bear Stearns closed their doors. Within months the game was back on, bigger and better than ever.

Now these shell games are called Bespoke Tranche Opportunities (BTO). Now there’s a serious bullshit term if ever there was one. They are basically CDOs sold in smaller chunks, and they sell ONE AT A TIME. They say is supposed to make the market less risky.

So…if I am a hedge fund guy, I can only get one of these things to put in my portfolio, right? Wrong! The one-at-a-time thing is a tiny fig leaf to cover the same sick practice that destroyed our housing market 17 years ago. Big investment houses can buy as many as they want.

But they’re “bespoke” right? The buyer can tailor them to the buyer’s wishes, right? If there were an infinite number of ways to do that, you could say yes, that is correct. But the tailoring is very finite, and the more we create, the greater the risk to the system

But they are more transparent, right? Not really. The sale of the garbage is observable, but how the risk is spread is “proprietary”. Without going too deep, it’s basically the same thing as a CDO with different colored tinsel.

And they are still “insuring” this bullshit with Credit Default Swaps! The phrase is almost a cliche: Don’t worry. It’s insured. The CDS is the backbone behind CDOs. Along with easy money from the Fed they drove the moral hazard created pre-2008.

But wait! There’s more!

Before the crash, the government contributed to the moral hazard orgy by buying up shit mortgages. Then for more than a decade they bought even more.

Every once in a while you’ll hear a piece in the the financial media about this or that reform, and adjustments to mortgage or investment regulations. Pull the curtain back and you’ll find these often mean more OKAY E-Z credit or other help going to Wall Street to keep all the plates spinning.

Like so many crony industries in this country, the lending and housing industries are constantly being propped up artificially. If you ever looked at a car loan or closing document you’d be hard pressed to think these people need a dime’s worth of consideration from the the government (your tax money). They get paid every time an employee picks his nose! And the charges are listed in your documents. And still they get your tax money in the form of buyouts and eventually…bailouts. Yes. It absolutely will happen again.

That’s not all Chevy…

We are only now feeling the effects of another phenomenon that’s been screwing up the housing market. Illegals, who should not own homes in this country to begin with, are now defaulting on their mortgages. For all manner of reasons, all of them were predicable and avoidable had the industries followed the letter and spirit of the law to begin with.

Thousands have self-deported. For whatever reason, they decided it was time to split. They leave the house and default on the mortgage. Others are deported by DHS and leave everything. The result is the same. Still others will buy a house, load it up with other illegals, who live like pigs and destroy the neighborhood.12

While they have the place, the illegals slumming there cut the owner on for some of their paychecks. The illegal landlord, renting illegally to illegals, while local governments turn a blind eye, will make a regular profit. Eventually, the place gets torn up. The owner at that point stops making payments whether he or anyone else is living there. It still a process of years to get the now ruined house back from the scumbag.

Thanks to the illegal immigration insanity of Barry O’s 3rd term, there are more than 5 million units that fall into one of these categories. That’s a lot of units. And we’ll see more in coming years. So the corrupt sanctuary city bullshit is contributing to present and future heartaches in the housing market. When it begins to cascade, nice areas will be ruined. Then you won’t just see white flight. You’ll see every responsible adult flight from these areas, leaving them to become shit holes. While the sudden availability of housing increases as a result, no one will want to move into these areas except for what we used to call Section 8 people.

Matt Walsh does a some good work on this issue. It’s worth seeing. And he’s not as brash as Charlie.

Add to this problem the housing that’s been bought up by BlackRock and other banks intended to make home ownership more difficult for everyone, especially young adults trying to buy their first home. There are several of these huge banks, cronies of the Democrats and in the thrall of the Davos/WEF cult. “You will own nothing and you will be happy.” Do you remember that one?

The government and their big investor cronies play Russian roulette with the economy and YOUR money every single day. But they’re happy, because before every time the spin the chamber, they take a few million off the table for themselves. Then they aim the gun at YOU. Click, click, click. When will we get the next BANG!

Let’s bring it all down to a little more micro.

When we bought and sold most of our houses, we traveled to an office on closing day and sat with agents, mortgage people and the Title people. We would be taken through each document, an ever increasing number each time.3 We and our agent would look at the documents and sign them. It was a bit of a hassle, but home buying is an important and expensive endeavor.

At the time, if you were overseas, or in some way prevented from coming to the table all parties would have to agree to execute your part of the deal remotely. A bonded, trusted courier service would travel to you to get your signatures. It was recognized as a risky arrangement because the remote party might not have had the benefit of an agent with them to check the documents.

This process was streamlined with the Docu-sign type services that allowed everything to be done electronically. But it was still intended for extreme circumstances.

Not for nuthin’, but absentee (mail-in) ballots were designed and used for decades for the same reasons. It was understood that there were circumstances that required consideration, and a risk of fraud. But voting in person was the norm.

Then Covid hit. Along with a laundry list of “emergency” procedures were established, was mass mail-in, remote voting, another was remote closings for loans. Both, we were told, we intended for use DURING the pandemic. Dems specifically, when challenged on the stupidity of remote voting, insisted it was not intended to be permanent thing. It was, of course. As was remote signing.

In the case of marketing and sales, people just got lazy. As early as 2021, I heard mortgage guys bragging that they rarely, if ever, attend a closing. It is easier, we are told.

It is easier for the industry people. They know what the documents are and how everything works. But it is not actually easier for the buyer or seller. They have to figure out questions or wait for someone to help them when there is a question. And there are times, to be certain, where things may be very wrong, but the NON-EXPERT customer has no way to know that they need to ask a question. So important questions don’t get asked.

Between the stress of waiting for everything to occur out of their sight, the texts, emails, voicemails, and the repeated signing of documents (we don’t do this for a living) it would be a lot easier to just go to closing at an office and be done with it.

But, post Covid, people who handle legal documents, no matter how valuable, found a way to save on effort and gas. Similarly, with mail-in voting, politicians - almost ALL Democrat - found a way to cheat like hell from now on.

Good for them. Not necessarily good for the end user.

Idiot Show Folk

First, let me wax indignant about the faggoty show folk who are staying away from the 250th. It seems the piss pots and crybabies, popular with Karens and manbuns, have gotten traction on social media whining about show folk who might chose to perform in this year’s 250th. Several acts have caved from the pressure from these lame asses, who do not represent purchasing power in any demographic. So the acts who were in and canceled were stupid to do so.

This is so for two reasons. One, this celebration, like the ‘76 shows were going to let these long-dead acts, like Vanilla Ice, enjoy newfound relevance. The Commodores were a sideshow for people who feel sorry for them…at best. So the ones who baled are stupid.

And, as I said before, the people pissing and moaning about who might be in the 250th (they are crying because they have terminal TDS) represent NOTHING economically to the acts we are talking about. They are passing up MONEY for the prospect of no money and no real appreciation from losers who will never mean anything to the acts.

As for the A-listers who are not a part of the big show. You jerkoffs lined up to be a part of the MOST RIDICULOUS, MOST UN-DEMOCRATIC candidacies in American history. You tripped over your stupid selves to be seen supporting a DEI Democrat hire that NOBODY likes. This includes the Hollywood douche bags I am addressing right now. YOU didn’t like Kamala. YOU never believed she was worth a bucket of warm shit. But you showed up to stand for your democracy.1

Take Bruce Springsteen as an example. He needs to replace his moniker of “The Boss” with “The Pussy”. Bruce, with all your now obvious bullshit about caring for our democracy, why are your people not beating down the door to have you lead the way to celebrating our great democracy you pretend to care about so much? America’s 250th is bigger than the Orange Man faggots like you obsess over. And it’s damn sure a lot bigger than you.

What of Sacramento?

In the race for governor there is an encouraging development. Floating in the top two positions, and occasionally top spot is the bright, and refreshingly genuine, Steve Hilton. And he is a Republican. He would be head and shoulders above the pack but for the presence of a guy named Chad Bianco.

I have nothing against the man as a person. I hope and believe he is a good sheriff. But his value as a candidate has expired. He has had no path to a primary victory, much less Sacramento, for some months now. This was and is very clear.

But he is still in the race, still hawking for votes. Either he or his crony backers cannot let go. But they had better do so publicly and loudly very soon. Bianco need to come out and actively campaign for Hilton in the waning days. He needs to get on every possible talk show and news program to do this.

Right now, in a slight lead is Democrat Xavier Beccera. This is a Lefty even other Lefties call lazy and stupid. He is a [party functionary. He is the guy who should be in the background paying bribes and making promises to cronies to get better people elected to office. But thanks to California’s kindergarten approach to state politics, he may end up being completely handled by the cronies in the governor’s office.

If we do not end up with a Republican governor in California this year the reason will be, more than any other, Bianco’s failure to recognize a secondary opportunity and drop out in favor of Hilton. To be certain he could parlay that into a position in the new cabinet, lining himself up as the next guy.

Finally…

Show of hands… Who lacks dignity such that they would claim the national anti-ICE activity is genuine activism in a good cause? If you raised your hand, slap your idiot self in the face with that same hand and then go away. You are beyond hope.

As I’ve said many times before on this platform, the Democrat political whores, like blue governors and mayors, and the lowlife scum organizing these confrontations, want one thing more than anything else in the entire world…death. They want the gullible rubes they send out to fuck with ICE to DIE. That is a plain and simple truth.

The Left is still bereft of reason and argument. They have NO policy to offer worth discussing. They care more for illegals, especially criminal illegals (but I repeat myself), than they do their own American constituents. They are nakedly trying to keep their voting numbers up with the illegals. They have gone so deep in this endeavor they can’t even bring themselves to say Well, yes. By all means get rid of the murderers and rapists. Because they know that will be a chink in the armor of acceptable Lefty idiocy. Allow for reason to creep in… allow for the hateful scum to be deported and next will come the garden variety illegal getting the boot.

Well, yeah. But that doesn’t excuse their support of the subhuman scum criminals. And it doesn’t excuse the constant confrontations with ICE.

There is something else I have said before that could stand some emphasis. ICE is not trained in crowd control, nor is it their mission. The mission of ICE is to scrape the foreign freeloaders off our streets. They are supported by law to do exactly that. If crowds of assholes try to interfere with that work, it is the duty of local law enforcement to break that interference.

If local law enforcement is hamstrung by political whores like the governors in New Jersey, Minneapolis, Illinois, Washington, California, etc., or the various mayors in these blue shit holes, it is the duty of the President of the United States to mobilize the National Guard to get between the career, bullshit, astroturf, rioters and the ICE officials carrying out their constitutional duty.

We are long overdue for LARGE pro-ICE demonstrations to counter the paid candy asses ICE has been dealing with for more than a year. If they are in your town and want confrontation - give it to them.

The career government scumbags were, and remain very upset that Tulsi wasn’t interested in doing business as usual, letting them run amuck. We have seen Democrats pull some low shit using law enforcement and the intelligence community. It is all they have since they are morally and intellectually bankrupt. But this time the “Republican” administration allowed , the CIA, WHO WORKED FOR GABBARD, take back records she was declassifying. It was carried out to create what would be considered a favorable administrative outcome for the raiders.

For my money, it represents one of the shittiest stunts ever pulled within an administration.

So, why did it go down without Trump stomping the career maggots into a fine paste? Good question.

One of my biggest complaints about Trump is his constant, naked demand that his cabinet and political allies be personally loyal to him, and to constantly telegraph that loyalty in everything they do and say. I thought he’d have gotten over the shit after his first term. It has gotten much worse. Disagreement, no matter how important or complex the issue, is disloyalty. Cabinet meetings are slobber sessions, with members drooling their praise for POTUS.

We are often told by insiders that the Donald is very cerebral in private. He listens to arguments and is clear minded in his decisions. But those words ring hollow when he is incapable of exhibiting those fine qualities in public.

Tulsi was pretty good at this, but muted in the delivery. And she wasn’t averse to telling the truth, even when it ran athwart of the nonsense DJT puts out.

Depending on who you listen to, Iran has been a day, a week, a month or a year from getting a nuke weapon since the mid 90’s. And to be certain they have been trying. The revisionist history we hear from people like Megyn Kelly about a fatwa against nukes, made by the room temperature, head religious nut bag in Iran, did nothing to slow the effort, because it didn’t happen. Iran wants nukes. Period. The Ayatollah lied about ever having issued the fatwa.

That said, we pretty much set them back 20 year with our raids last June. The hassle with Iran before and since has been their stoking of violence throughout the Middle East. That would have been more than enough to take all manner of actions against Iran. And once we attacked them we needed to end their ability to resist our will.

But to hype his simple-minded desire to attack, DJT has, up to this day, said he is doing it over the nukes Iran does not have, and will not have for a very long time, even if we stopped all operations TODAY.

Gabbard, in a very calm, clear statement said a few months back that Iran was nowhere near acquiring a nuclear weapon. And that is when she was marked for elimination within the administration. Not only because she disagreed with Trump’s clearly ludicrous claims, but because it was an act of disloyalty. A personal affront to a president with an ego as delicate as rice paper.

So when the punks and sissies reburied the information they have found uncomfortable since 1963. Trump let is happen. When the other punks and sissies launched an investigation into Gabbard’s office (pure nonsense in its face), Trump didn’t call an end to it.

So yes, I am 100% sure she will spend her time looking after her husband while he deals with his cancer. BUT, I think she has known for some weeks now that she will be in no way be permitted to do her job. And she was valuable in that job! From day one Tulsi has been the voice of reason, maturity, objectivity and clarity in an increasingly chaotic administration.1 The voices reaching DJT’s ear are among the least intelligent and objective. He is being poorly served. What he takes for loyalty is, in reality, surreptitious manipulation by nut bags like Mark Levin and Lindsay Graham.

Honestly, the Lefty poofs in America are like three year olds who refuse to play with a toy until another kid touches it. Then they have hissy fits.

I was reading a post from a friend of a poofy Left persuasion recently. The message was that Donald Trump shut down Spirit Airlines because Orange Man Bad! And well,… because the Iran war is driving up fuel costs. It seems, according to my sobbing buddy, that Spirit was running their business model on the assumption “jet fuel would remain below $2.25 per gallon”….for, well…forever. If true, that’s not a business model, it’s pathetic and wishful thinking. If true, their airline was destined to go belly up.

But, since all airlines, even Spirit by their fuel as a futures purchase, I think it can be fairly said the Spirit’s fall was just bad timing. They were stuck making their next major purchase in a market marred by war and future scarcity; possibly extreme scarcity.

The tenor of posts like the one mentioned above, since they are motivated entirely by TDS, seems to be that whatever bad news the candy asses dig up, they MUST have been what Trump wanted. In this case he WANTED to ruin Spirit Airlines…so he went to war.

Spirit’s woes didn’t begin with this conflict. They haven’t turned a profit in years. And the political whores owned by the major airlines, presently bitching about Spirits going tits up, refused to let Spirit merge with Jet Blue in order to create a stronger airline. Thank a Democrat.

And I have news for everyone: Spirit won’t be the last airline to fall due to the Iran conflict. While gas prices have been up since the beginning, we are only now starting to feel the REAL effects of the war, writ large. A major shortfall in jet fuel is already a certainty in the next two months. Flight cancellations over the summer will be epic. Many carriers will, at minimum, initiate massive furloughs. Many will fold.

California, this week got it’s last pre-war shipment of oil. From now on, they will pay through the nose. There will be even less available to the rest of us because we have to make up the shortfalls in California. And THAT is because among all the other stupid things California has done for over a century, they stopped pumping their own oil. Result? Prices at the pump in NORMAL states will go higher still. Thank a California Democrat.

The damage done to markets goes FAR beyond cancelled flights and expensive gasoline.1 The economic damage across the globe, caused by this poorly planned, hastily executed debacle over two months, will be felt for years. And it will likely undo everything DJT was well on the way to accomplishing; massive international investment, on-shoring of manufacturing, rapid economic growth. All that is now kicked well down the road, if ever to be seen again.

Caveat: I do so hope I am wrong about all of the this. By September I’d love to be shouting from the rooftop that I had my head up my ass, that oil is now gushing onto the market and all is now booming. But I doubt that will happen. I think the likely result of all of this is the Davos cult will take over Congress, pack the court and turn the impeachment monkeys loose once again.

But the silliest thing to jump out of the post I mentioned was the irony of wussies crying about airliners not flying. Especially the discount airlines. The dirtiest, most unsafe, who charge for baggage and seat arrangements. The shitty bastards! Shouldn’t and shrews and manbuns of the Left be cheering about how much less “global warming” is about to take place. Airliners are the WORST polluters, according to the Davos cult. Many thousands of fewer flights per day, less exploitation of the masses. The Karens should be erecting statues of Trump shielding the earth in a protective hug.

But no, they want to sing requiems for the dirty airlines. Do you see what I mean about the three year olds?

But what can you expect of a Left wing that consistently takes the side of Muslim nut bags, never presenting workable alternatives to ANYTHING.2

With yesterday’s vote in The Old Dominion, we got a strong sense of how many worthless takers and big government drones we have infesting our state. These people make a mockery of our history of strength, courage and individualism. They are trying to replace it with grift, grievance and grasping.

The Boney Ass White Liberal Shrew (BAWLS), Spanberger carried out yet another lie yesterday. While running she said she was a moderate (she always says that). Too many people believe her because they are tribal Democrat drones who pretend to believe or because they are gullible. As soon as she got into office she and her Dem cohort launched a series of sick, abusive, anti-American bills ALL designed to take your money and limit your freedom.

The latest lie to fall was her promise not to support stupid redistricting schemes. She gleefully supported the worst example of corrupt gerrymandering EVER.

You’ve heard me talk about the Davos/WEF cult. Well, her performance to date would make the worst of the Davos crowd beam with pride. The creepy “elites” like Gates, Soros, Klaus Schwab and that knob Al Gore are also happy with trends in Virginia. They know creatures as obedient to their nonsense as BAWLS and company will be the first to aggressively build the Schwab/Soros Orwellian nightmares known as “smart cities”. These will be your electronic prisons.

I am perusing the results from Tuesday. They were fairly predictable. I am proud of my county and others I’ve lived in. Westmorland was, of course, a big NO. Spotsy, Stafford and Gloucester were NO also. Fredericksburg was a laugh. These people put on airs like they are Northern Virginia beautiful people. But they are in reality small town folks who fail to see the advantages of nearby agriculture and NOT being a Blue shithole.

That last bit will change quickly now. The pretend beautiful people, who do have property and wealth to protect, will very soon find they are living in a dump that feels more like Woodbridge. They will be up to their nipples in takers and criminals. And they will be told how far they can travel, what they can eat and how much of everything they need or want that they can buy. Good move, F’burg!

All of Northern Virginia, little piglets feeding at the government trough, were Yes votes. They are still too stupid to know that just because the federal nanny state keeps them employed, whether they deserve it or not, doesn’t mean the Democrats in Richmond will give two shits about them. In fact, the very well-paid federal employees in Fairfax, Loudon, Arlington, Alexandria, and the rest will have targets on their backs from now on. Richmond Dems have already decided they are entitled to more of your paycheck, not in just whole dollars, but as a percentage of the total. SUCKERS!

BAWLS is after your food, too!

My greatest concern watching this nightmare unfold is the farmers. Drive in any direction in the state outside of the douche bag areas and you’ll find more farmland than most outsiders imagine exists. It’s not just in the western part of the state. There are farms, large and small, everywhere.

They will be subjected to the destructive Davos lunacy faster and with much more devastating results than the smart city shit most other people will endure. The Lefty regulations will be onerous. Hang on to yer ass, Fred. I am about to mitigate criticism of Yum Yum’s idiot asset.1 This latest Eric Swalwell dust up has so many interesting facets to it. And the key players are your standard assortment of Democrat, lowlife skeezes.

Everyone who has been with the P4B for any amount of time knows I think Swalwell is one of the biggest dorks in American Politics. And there is some real competition for the title. He’s a phony tough, un-serious, rather stupid man. In keeping with the later discussion here, I doubt he could ever get with a woman of style and substance without getting her smashed first. He keeps a constant five o’clock shadow because it helps to play down his week, chubby cheeks and double chin. And for years, he’s been a darling of the Left. He’s their kind of guy.

Al least he was until he decided to take on smarter and dirties people in his own party in the California gubernatorial race. Now, people far filthier than he is are calling on him to drop out of the race. People like the bitchy shrew Katie Porter, who fills a room with hate and resentment just by walking in, are calling for his head. In her case the desperation is obvious. She is up against him in the race. There’s no way she was out-polling even Swalwell.

Then there’s the Dull-eyed moron, Hakkeem Jeffries, who calls himself the Bronx Obama, who has profited office in ways that would make Nancy Pelosi moist, coming out against Eric the Pasty.

Treasonous liar-in-chief and pencil neck, Adam Schiff is calling for Swalwell’s removal from congress and the race. This man wouldn’t know honesty if it kicked him in his nutless crotch. He wrecked lives and stalled the function of governance for years based on one lie after another. And he is casting aspersions against another Dem douche bag? The hubris!

Karen Bass, who doesn’t have the intellectual heat needed to light a match is crying out for chubby cheek’s removal. This is a woman who destroyed what was left of LA when she took office and, like Gavin Newsom, will retire extremely wealthy on the monetary sewage that is the government/”non-profit” relationship.

Then there is the man himself. He was played by Yum Yum for years. She had him by his schmeckle while he was working his way up to the intelligence committee. You KNOW she got the goods. And yet he remains a member of congress in Judiciary and Homeland Security committees and is a ranking member on the subcommittee for Cybersecurity and Infrastructure. The idiot shouldn’t even hold a minor clearance much less any elected office! He’s been successfully compromised by a hostile spy for fuck’s sake!

That said…

As much as I’d like to see this douche bag working at McDonald’s, normal people ought not jump on the sexual allegation bandwagon too eagerly. It is following a familiar pattern we haven’t seen in a while, the old ME TOO scam. Clearly, there are powerful forces in California and DC who want to see Swalwell out of the governor’s race. So after all his years in politics, and his relationship with Yum Yum, only NOW we get a serious sexual allegation, followed immediately by four more?

Oh sure. repressed memory and all. In five separate people. Right. Excuse me, I have to feed my unicorns their pixie dust.

And the fact remains, as always, he is innocent until proven guilty and we ought not declare him guilty lest we start another stupid ME TOO orgy.

Of all the other things he has been accused of, it might be about time someone took the correct legal action against him, as they should have against Newsom, Tampon Tim, Pelosi, either Clinton, Obama, Holder and a list that goes on and on.

Until then, I’ll just continue to bust on him for being remarkably stupid.

Full disclosure, I’d love to see him answer for any of the above. But he is an amateur compared the the rest of the Dem criminals mentioned. And he should get his day in court.

In the meantime, I am sure he’ll keep taking girly stances and telling his fans how tough that makes him, so I’ll have lots to spank him for.

Virginia’s proposed redistricting map.

Vote NO in Virginia’s April referendum. Boney ass Spanberger and the Dems are demanding a constitutional amendment to allow them to redraw voter maps outside the normal census rotation. Their reason? Other states are doing it. So there!

To this one might ask if other states all set their hair on fire, should we?

Look at this map.

Have you ever seen anything more blatantly corrupt and stupid? The boundaries are illogical. People at one end of a district share nothing of importance with people at the other. That is the intention of normal districts - commonality of local interest - more power to the most local of entities. And the way these districts snake around corners the way they do (Richmond, Roanoke, Alexandria, Norfolk), and knowing it is the Dem party doing the drawing, you can be certain, as I am, the maps are drawn with racist intent. In the mind of these deluded Dem political whores: These poor, stupid black people can’t rely on themselves. They need their Democrat white saviors to rig elections in order to “help” them.

The people who most need to worry about this are farmers and those who depend on farmers. For the truly stupid, that means everyone who eats. If this monstrosity of a vote scam goes through, the idiot Left will then work it’s will against farmers with total impunity, driving down yields and drive costs for food grown in Virginia through the roof! I realize there are Dems in the Old Dominion, too stupid to understand this paragraph, who will vote tribal and say yes. I also know there are Dems who will understand it all and vote yes because they are shallow, frightened and obedient, and that is what the tribe expects of them. The rest of you needn’t be that stupid.

But if this referendum is approved political dorks like Greta Fucking Thunberg will dictate our farm policy for years to come.

There is a reason the census is supposed to drive the voter maps. It’s to keep stupid people from messing with them every year or two. If you vote for this idiocy, you will be voting into existence an endless back and forth that will never go away. The parties will bicker about boundaries and will be in court all year every year - on your dime! With the shallow, legally ignorant DEI judges we have on benches across the state, this can only lead to true electoral instability, rancor and complete distrust.

But there is another risk, if Dems can keep the power created by their corrupt maps, we would see the entire Commonwealth of Virginia be turned into a Blue shit hole like Detroit or Chicago - ALL OF VIRGINIA looking like those dumps! The Dems would gain a foothold through corruption and racial pandering, then keep it through more corruption and racial pandering. They’ll buy who they have to buy. They’ll promise the takers whatever they want to hear to get them to vote Blue. But they don’t REALLY give a warm watery shit about those people or the conditions in their areas of responsibility.

Vote NO on or before 21 April! If you can find a box marked “NOT NO, BUT FUCK NO!” check that one. Don’t hand these people, who are busy creating a dozen new taxes and killing your 2A rights, AS WE SPEAK, this kind of power. No matter what your party affiliation, you WILL soon regret it. The political whores can grow up and wait for the next census, no matter what the kids in Texas are doing.

It is worth noting that Texas does not need an amendment to redistrict. Now that all politics are pursued by shallow 12 year olds, I wish them luck with that.

It is also worth noting that by doing this in Virginia the fix will be IN! And people say it’s unfair to accuse Dems rigging elections.

Finally remember RFKJ’s maxim. When given a power the government will always abuse it. Red, Blue, Purple. It won’t matter to the people in Richmond and DC. They won’t give a shit about you just because you’re a Democrat. You’ll be just as fucked as any Republican in Virginia, if this imbecility gets through.

I am in still 100% distraction mode right now. We are aggressively working out our real estate options right now. And it is only going to get worse. We have to de-clutter a ton of stuff and stage the house, even though we are not sure we’re leaving yet. That is going to be a wicked time burglar for a while.

In the meantime, I have thoughts on Tucker Carlson, the SOTU vs Spanberger [eye-roll] and Netanyahu vs DJT. All good stuff and I will get to it ASAP. But I couldn’t let the day pass without weighing in on Iran.

Media Panic. It’s an act.

We are hearing the word “quagmire” a lot. There is no reason under the sun this conflict should ever become a quagmire. That doesn’t mean it won’t happen. But to find ourselves in a quagmire, WE must DECIDE to make it that.

The biggest shit shows we found ourselves in since WWII were all “quagmires” because we tried to fight them half assed. In Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan we thought we could take territory and control outcomes with a few hundred thousand men.

The scum that put us into these places knew the lessons of the World Wars, but pretended they didn’t. They sent in too few troops to win hearts and minds, rather than putting warheads, in sufficient numbers, on foreheads. The yes men, who have peopled the Pentagon for too many years, including Patreus were still preaching Robert McNamara bullshit right up until DJT’s second term.

It remains to be seen how the cowboys in the puzzle palace will perform now. If they start talking about limited war, asymmetrical war or proportionate responses, especially if they put troops in the ground under these guises, tell your kids to head for Canada, because the War Department wants to get them killed for nothing…again!

If they do everything in overwhelming number (for troops numbers that would be working in the millions, which we don’t have right now), then you’ll know they are serious and intend to accomplish something in goddamistan.

We are hearing people like Van Jones say WWIII has already started. Don’t get your panties in a bunch over such talk. If you look at any news feed about Trump vs any country, the candy asses in the media ALWAYS said he was starting WWIII or was about to. When he made fun of the crazy fat kid in NOKO, he was starting WWIII. When he sat down with the crazy fat kid to discuss ending their nuke program, he was betraying his country...according to Lefty idiots.

When he said he wanted to end the Ukraine war to the possible disadvantage of Ukraine, he was setting the world up for WWIII. When he increased sanctions on Russia (that’s good for Ukraine), he was starting WWIII.

When he killed Soleimani, he was risking WWIII. Taking out the Iranian nuke facilities was certainly starting WWIII. And here we all are now.

There was never meat on any of those bones, but half of you believed it each time. The Chicken Little(s) may come home to roost…if the present War Department screws up. If they do, and I mean screw up REALLY bad, they could get us into a quagmire, but that will be our fault, not because of unsurmountable conditions on the ground. Iran doesn’t have friends who will support them to the hilt. They have a few countries who will sell them things for as long as Iran can pay.

In Iraq, as an example, we ended up in a quagmire because Iran filled the power vacuum we created AND WE LET IRAN DO THAT.

We didn’t hit Iraq with sufficient numbers to take over everything. So we shouldn’t have gone at all! When Iran came in and got the religious nut bags all fired up we responded slowly and weakly. It was easy for them to drag us into a game of rope the dope. The Iranian government didn’t care how many Muslims got chewed up in the US military’s meat grinder.

Should we have attacked Iran?

I believe Trump’s intentions are sincere. That doesn’t make the situation right, but it puts him light years ahead of the rest of our political zoo, who couldn’t do sincere if it came with handles and a set of instructions.

I am still on the fence about this operation. To be certain, the world is a better place now that a number of religious nut bags have gone tits up. I won’t lose a minute of sleep over that.

But if we think we are going to FIX Iran with bombing and on the cheap, we are setting ourselves and the Iranian people up for disaster.

One thing is obvious. As they did with tariffs, Greenland and more recently with deportations (now the good ones can stay - whoever the hell they are), the administration is flailing wildly in Iran. I tried not to believe it when pundits accused Trump et al with starting this fiasco without a plan to keep the straights open. There’s no way! Nobody is that stupid. Or so I thought. But…it turns out…they started this fiasco without a plan to keep the straights open.

And now, there’s the talk of “I’ll blow up your electrical grid…” If he were to do something that stupid at this stage, if at all, he will immediately and accurately be rated exactly the same as Putin.

Full disclosure, most people know I don’t give a shit about the Russia/Ukraine war. It is a case of two filthy corrupt governments at war. When it is over, the cesspool will remain in both countries.

That said, Ukraine has done one thing well that sets it morally above the Little Russian Jerkoff. With their long range attacks, they concentrate quite successfully on targeting military infrastructure, legitimate targets. Oil is a grey area, but it IS a strategic military asset.

Putin, by contrast, does two things when he shoot beyond the front. He targets the grid and happily throws rounds into populated civilian areas. In all this conflicts, he n=has never given a single shit about actively killing civilians, including his own people. We saw that with the phony apartment building attack. That was his “Reichstag fire”. It was the damn, dirty Chechens, we were told.

If Trump actually destroys the grid HE BECOMES THE LITTLE RUSSIAN JERKOFF! But he’s not going to accomplish a damn thing by doing it.

This is what I mean by “flailing”. I don’t know who he is listening to. I don’t know it the career political whores at State and Defense are intentionally leading him down a suicidal path or if Trump is listening to that war dork, Lindsay Graham. Either way, a grownup somewhere needs to step up and endure the thunder, probably lose their job for not being “loyal” enough, and tell the Donald bombing the grid is a remarkably stupid and unproductive idea.

And it can’t be a Joe Kent type. He was a Graham-like cheerleader for tearing Iran apart, until busting on Trump became a cottage industry. He is pleasing his loony Lefty wife and likely arranging a book and Netflix deal as we speak. Someone serious needs to talk the Donald off the ledge, not a self-serving whore.

Stark disappointment: Tucker

I at one time thought the world of Tucker Carlson. Now, I tend to relate to him Carlson as I do Peter Zeihan. Sometimes I ding him, sometimes I quote him. I had no idea until recently that Carlson was an antisemite. A rather hysterical one at that.

On the issues of the Iran war and Israel he has blurted out the most ridiculous things. A few weeks ago he said less that 1 in 5 American would support an attack on Iran. This wasn’t true then and it isn’t true now.

Of Israel, he is simply vindictive. Since 1948, Israel has had to beat back one attack after another by the enemies around them. For at least three decades terror attacks and missile attacks by Israel’s uncivilized neighbors were endless. And whenever Israel reacted TO ATTACKS they were chastised, usually by the loud mouth Left, and people would insist BOTH sides need to calm down. But Israel would ALWAYS take the lion’s share of the blame for shit they don’t start. The dickheads that consistently DO start it are called freedom fighters.

The next time someone punches you in the face, make sure you and the attacker just CALM DOWN. Let him hit you. Then when he hits you again, handle it the same way. Make sure YOU de-escalate. YOU behave with restraint. See how many times your attacker hits you or others after that.

As an aside, we now have college idiots running around campus wearing Palestinian tea towels the way the used to wear Che Guevara tee shirts. Well, Guevara was a racist POS, so are Hamas and Hezbollah. Modern Lefties are just as racist, so I guess it works for them.

Of Netanyahu Tucker says he is “evil, pure evil”. On the Megyn Kelly Show he said, and has repeated since, that Bibi is only interested in taking over the entire region. He claims Bibi has said he wanted this repeatedly. He backed the claim by saying, of course he wants that, all national leaders want that.

There is so much wrong here, aside from the fact that it wreaks of a mean girl attitude. First, what Netanyahu has said repeatedly is that he wants to destroy Iran’s ability to fund and encourage the religious nut bags in Lebanon and Gaza in the killing of Israelis. He has ever said or implied he wanted to establish Israeli hegemony over the entire Levant. That’s just intentionally contrived bullshit on Carlson’s part to appeal to the mouth breathers on the extreme right and extreme Left. Lots of likes. Advertisers like that.

And no, ALL national leaders DO NOT think like that.1 If that silly, illogical and gratuitous assertion were true the United States would run from the North Pole to the South, and include Greenland more than a century ago.

On a recent show he called Israel an ugly, ugly country. He said it might be the ugliest country ever. And he asked his guest if he agreed. Mean girl; pure middle school nastiness.

He and his guest claim Israel FORCED the US to attack Iran. This is drawn from comments made that we had a plan and since an Israeli attack was imminent, it would be a good time to accomplish our aims. This was made eminently clear. But on the Left and among people like Tucker, Israel destroyed our sovereignty and forced us into war.

All the while Tucker insists he’s not attacking Netanyahu or Israel. He’s just being honest. But his words are strident, churlish, and not at all honest. His words are indeed attacks for the sake of attacking, nothing more. It is like walking up to a woman and saying, “You’re a fat pig! But hey, I’m not attacking you, I’m just being honest.” We’ve all known this type of shit bird.

These people - Tucker, Owens, Fuentes, et al, all say We’re not antisemetic. We’re against the nation of Israel, not the Jews. But in ALL of their rhetoric. Jew and Israel are interchangeable and indistinguishable. The Jews control everything. Israel controls everything. The Jews run America. Israel forced America to attack Iran. The Jewish lobby did XYZ. The Israeli lobby did XYZ.

The line drawn between the two is a false one, and obviously so. It is a stupid and shallow one, and just as obviously so.

So why does Carlson do this? I don’t know. Why did he let some revisionist asshole sit on his show and tell his audience, for example, that Churchill was the bad guy in WWII, not Hitler? This naked absurdity went utterly unchallenged. The guest’s timeline was a complete fabrication. And it made Tucker look just as stupid as his guest for not challenging it. Is it because Tucker doesn’t know ANYTHING about history? Nah.

Does he make stupid assertions about Israel because he is a genuine Jew hater? I don’t think so. I think he has found an audience with mouth-breathing Billy Bobs who are disappointed that when they moved form the Dem party with Strom Thurman, we didn’t all hate the blacks and Jews along with them. So that left them without an identifiable political home.

Enter Carlson. Tucker has taken a play from the Clinton playbook (never a source of virtue, that). He, like Candace Owens, is trying to triangulate. They are creating a sensational “third way”. They believe there is an audience out there who will react to their intentionally silly blather. They take on the Right, not because they actually disagree, but because they want clicks and likes and ultimately a better payday. Ya see, Billy Bob? They’re all wrong. It’s just us Jew-hatin’ mouth breathers who know what’s really goin’ on!

If Carlson was a true Jew hater, we’d have heard about it long before now. No, he is playing the Rachel Maddow, Whoopie Goldberg, Keith Olberman bullshit game. He makes loud, irrational charges about Israel and Netanyahu while discussing something as important as military action against another nation. At such times we need adults to lead the discussion. While Tucker certainly has the right to say stupid, brash things, he doesn’t help people form a valid opinion about the subject at hand. He is certainly smart enough to know all this. Which is the truly sad part.

But as with Zeihan, there will be times in the future where Tucker is his honest, thinking self. He will be interesting, as opposed to annoying. And if he discusses a topic I am covering, I may quote him. That’s because I am an adult. I don’t validate or oppose someone on any subject based on whether or not they are an asshole. And Tucker is being a championship asshole on the Iran issue - and about Israel in general, actually.

But a valid point would be a valid point, no matter who makes it. So yeah, when I catch his show on a long walk, and he’s not being a dipshit, as he is right now, I might mention it.

The Future of the Free Zone.

I feel fairly confident that we will have the house deals we seek, selling and buying. So that may help my volume and consistency a bit. But packing, de-cluttering and moving will take up a lot of time too.

When executing a military operation, ANY military operation, the goal is not to punish anybody. There must be a net gain for the side inflicting damage. In fact it would be strategically detrimental for us and everyone else! The act CANNOT be justified.

BUT!!!!

After spending the last several weeks very mildly supporting Trump’s efforts, if not his reasoning, we part ways on immigration.

The stated policy of the administration, since 20 Jan 25 has been we will get all the hard core criminal illegals. If, in the process we nail illegals whose only crime is being an illegal, well that’s just too bad for that illegal. That illegal doesn’t being here and will be kicked out too. An argument can be made about the company such an illegal is keeping. But out he will GO!

Developments in Minnesota showed DHS and ICE officials wobbling on their commitment to scrape ALL these people from our streets. Then this week, the Donald said something to the effect of if you have a job and you’ve been here for a while, well…we don’t want to go after you. We should stop doing that.

That was NEVER the policy and it shouldn’t be now. But the Donald (perhaps because some other pussy stroked his ego) pussied out on immigration.

By doing this, and by his earlier retreat from Minnesota, Trump validated the idiotic narrative of the media and the Lefty poofs who have nothing to offer America but tears, taxes and corruption. Trump validated the “ICE is murdering innocent Americans” bullshit.

Enough of this rant. I have to find a nice 3 and 2 with office space and a nice workshop. And, if I value my life, it will have granite countertops and a kitchen island. She thinks we’re rich. Who wants to tell her?

Charles and his useless brother, Andrew have never lived anywhere near the real world. They have no greater clue of adulthood than their great uncle David (Edward VIII) who pissed it all away for a less than attractive, divorced bimbo in the 1930’s. With that in mind, I wrote this in 2024:

Then you have the true believers, similarly motivated. King Chuck is the ultimate example of the perpetually offended3 (as a result of his own life choices being laughed at), insanely entitled celebrity that surrounds the cult. He now sits on a throne he clearly doesn’t respect himself. Most of his obligations are ceremonial. He is told he can’t have an opinion lest he shake the Constitutional Monarchy. He is the perfect rube. As certain as the sunrise, the London establishment will deeply regret that Elizabeth didn’t abdicate in favor of William. I regret it already, and I’m not even British.

So…that establishes his stupidity vis à vis the real world.

Then there’s this!!!

It seems water head baby Andrew has been busted for violating the State Secrets Act, having shared some of these choice secrets with none other than Jeffrey Epstein. This, possibly, after he swore he’d put the perv behind his royal self.

He also paid one of Epstein’s trafficking victims millions in hush money. And here’s where the story gets even more weird, and Chuck and Andy more pathetic.

Blaiming the Queen

Against the advice and desires of Prince William (reportedly) Charles took steps to rehabilitate Andrews image and provide him with some renewed status in the family business. William was of a mind to expel Andrew entirely from any public relationship with the Monarchy.

Throughout the years in question, when Andrew was diddling young girls and sharing state secrets with Epstein, Charlie didn’t exactly trust Andrew. There is ample reason to believe Charles was actively engaged in damage control. Clearly, British and American intelligence knew of Andrew’s association with Epstein, among other scumbags.

When Andrew was cleared to pay 20 million sterling in hush money, the Queen was in poor health. She was not able to meet all her obligations of office. She made a few appearances, but Charles was acting as regent. HE conducted the real business of the crown. But through the use of leaks to friends in the media, the boys want us to believe it is all Elizabeth’s doing. Sorry, boys. We know Buckingham Palace wouldn’t have cut a check for 20 million quid without Charles supporting it.

So Chuck knew all, or most of what oozed out of the Epstein files about his brother, years ago. This creates a much large mess than most people realize right now. According to British journalist, Dan Wooten, citing history and legal precedent, Charles is now entangled in the legal proceedings himself for the reasons I mentioned earlier, and the fact that Andrew would be suicidal not to call him as a witness in the case.

And therein lay the grenade. The King, as head of the courts, CANNOT be a part of court proceedings…at all. But, if called, there will be no graceful way for him to refuse, which wouldn’t show the people of Great Britain that the fix would be in. To play fair, to see the law proceed as Charles insisted it must just this week, SPEAKING OF THE ANDREW CASE, he’d have to abdicate.

No one would be happier to see that than your author. And while I think William is far less of a gullible rube than his father is, this whole affair WILL give critics of monarchy a new soapbox from which to hoot and holler.

And they have a lot to point to. With the POSSIBLE exception of Elizabeth, 1the British have had three generations of jackasses they are keeping in luxury most of us haven’t even witnessed from a distance.

We had Edward’s moronic abdication, followed by a pathetic parade of actions BY HIM against the British people. Here’s an easy primer.

Then Princess Margaret got shafted when she was told she couldn’t marry a divorcee. The crown (Elizabeth) pulled all manner of stunts to keep the two apart. Margaret proved to be quite the odd ball throughout the rest of her aimless, booze-addled life which included relationships with some seriously vapid men.

Later divorces and once-questionable marriages would become a cottage industry among the Royals. This overseen by the same woman who shafted her sister over such issues. Weird.

We listened to Chuck telling his babe, nowhere near as beautiful as Diana, that he wanted to be her tampon. Ooooh! That’s GOT to be the worst attempt at phone sex in history!

Prince Edward, kid brother to Charles, has spent his life pretending to be things, like a movie producer, never having put in the effort to learn how to do those things.

Then there’s poor Harry. He let himself be led down a twisted path by a woman who spent all her time as a member of the royal family trying to be the new Diana. Meghan came into the picture thinking her day job made her as important as actual royalty. Showfolk!

She pretended to have all the problems Diana had2, PLUS forwarded weird and nebulous charges of racism by some phantom family member. While trying to stupidly exploit the memory OF HER HUSBAND’S MOTHER, Meghan brought little of the benefits of a Diana to the Royal family, or their mission. It remains to be seen if there will be a reconciliation. My guess is there will be when Harry finally tires of his passive aggressive, crazy ass wife and kicks her to the curb, likely at great expense. And the Doof and Doofus of Sussex will be no more.

Even the late Phillip, supposed the glue that held the family together…sort of…got away with the craziest shit. He repeatedly made dumb remarks about Asian eyes. He called Chinese “chinky, chinky Chinamen” and made fun of a Polynesian kings “hat” (it was the man’s royal headdress - the equivalent of a crown).

Through it all, thanks to really good media support and the whole appointed by god thing, the people have continued to pay the freight for this merry band of misfits. And I have to admit, I am fascinated by the whole production. The institution has a colorful history; hardly a normal person in the whole cast of characters. We kind of want to keep them around to see what happens next. But it has to become increasingly difficult for some people to take all the bowing and scraping for such knuckleheads seriously, much less the expense.

Another Zeihan story.

As my 4 and 5 star readers know, I often quote or clash with Peter Zeihan. I can do this because I am an adult. I don’t dismiss his work just because he’s a political candy ass. Or because his girly political views are the very thing that will prevent the West from dealing with the challenges he warns of in his professional capacity. His views encourage weak, emotional, unproductive thinking. And like a recent post, his political views are fraught with subjective delusion.

But in that recent video, I think Zeihan, in an effort to sound cool to Subaru owners, went completely over the top ASSHOLE in a key statement.

We already have a government in the United States that is just rabidly anti-immigration, and it’s to the point it’s willing to use it’s own law enforcement to kill American citizens to make its point heard. [emphasis Zeihan’s]

So much bullshit in one compound sentence.

First, nobody in the Administration is against immigration, much less rabidly so. That is just an outright fairy tale…spun by the fairy in question. What the administration IS against is the flood of illegal immigrants we’ve tolerated for decades and which was put on steroids by the Biden administration (or Obama’s third term).

And only the dickiest of dickheads would claim that Trump sent ICE out to KILL AMERICAN CITIZENS. Zeihan knows, but obviously can’t acknowledge due to his TDS, that ICE was sent out to do it’s legally mandated job. ALL the clashes and violence associated with that has been caused ONLY by the professional AstroTurf organizers and their goons (who to an individual don’t REALLY give a shit abut illegals). The two people who were shot would still be breathing today if it wasn’t for their own stupidity and desire their 15 minutes, or to get likes on social media.

I don’t suspect, even if called out for the irresponsibility and intended inaccuracy in his statement, Peter will ever provide a retraction and certainly not an apology. I believe it was Joe Rogan, speaking of PZ who said he’d “never met a man more self-certain”. That does describe Zeihan, even when he is intentionally misleading.

My last word on the Winter Games

I want to host a party for some of the athletes. Specifically, most of the women’s curling teams and all the Asian skiers. And I want to be the only guy there. At the risk of sounding misogynistic…these women are smoke shows, bone goddesses.

Among the curlers, some of the women, even in their late 20’s look like virgins, with their pony tails and innocent nature. And I suppose if you make a living sliding rock on the ice - you may well remain a virgin. But bloody hell, I enjoyed the Winter Games this year.

I kept hitting rewind on those long, slow Sliiiiiides. Yeah, baby.

I have been catching some of the Olympics. Curling is frustrating to watch. The USA women’s team was 4-1 going into their match against Italy. From watching them play I assumed their 4 wins were against hockey players or accountants.

They kept doing this weird shit of putting a rock just over the green line as if they were blocking. BUT IS WAS THEIR FIRST ROCK OF THE END (round)! There was nothing to block. The Italians on the other hand spend each round scoring points! Those crazy Italians, right?

Anyhoo, I’m sure the Americans were trying to force some kind of strategy to work for them. They failed and ended up so far behind they conceded wthout playing the final end.

And speaking of conceding…

Once again the nutless, witless GOP snatches defeat from the jaws of victory. They are handling the Minnesota situation exactly the opposite from the way they should.

First, somebody got to Trump and stroked him. Here’s what we do, MR. PRESIDENT! We pull people out of Minnesota for a promise by them to cooperate with ICE. Then everyone will love you! Yay!

Tom Homan then falls into line and helps to sell the idea. He’s a good soldier, not terribly bright, and rather tired of all the media crap. Now Republican politicians and not a few talking heads are all barking about how brilliant the move is and how it will help ICE with its mission.

No, no, no, NO!!! This is a terrible idea, and I’ll tell you why.

When someone on the right says something to offend the perpetually offended on the Left, or even somebody on the Left says something that isn’t utterly in line with the prevailing Dem talking points and required worldview, that person is excoriated. Well meaning “helpers” encourage the “offender” to apologize. The “offenders” do.

And at that point the Left triples down on the offender, expecting him to drag his nuts through broken glass, continuing to rip at his flesh until the next shiney object is assigned to the perpetually offended to protest. It takes months or even years, if ever, for the terrible person who might have said “tranny”1 or questioned “defund the police” or whatever, to come back to full throttle in society or their profession.

And so it will go with Minneapolis. The GOP has bent the knee to people who will now kick them in the head. They are doing this PRIMARILY in an effort to get the media to say nice things about them. Rush taught us 20 years ago that this is never going to happen. And the last thing conservatives should attempt, through their decision making, is an effort to get the media to like them. That is truer now than it was the first time Rush said it.

The best we can expect from the likes of Frey and Ellison and Tampon will be a few criminals being turned over to ICE by police. The political whores will claim hero status for doing it, while clutching their pearls over what might happen to the poor murderers or rapists they are turning over.

Then judges will jump back in the game and order the local police to stop cooperating. At that point (after seeking out that judge to get that very order) the political whores will throw their hands in the air and say well, we tried. Darn the bad luck!

In the meantime we have tens of thousands of illegals in Minnesota who are already under final deportation orders from a judge, regardless of other crimes they may have committed here.2

All we’ll get from this is a few hundred scumbags at best. Not even a scratch in the finish of the illegal immigration problem, especially in Minnesota where illegals have made the political whores their bitches.

So, for backing down, we’ll get jack shit and Minnesota gets to keep their illegal voters. And the media will triple down on it’s bashing of Trump and ICE and everything else that stands against their chaos and their idiotic nonsense.

But wait! There’s more!

The paid AstroTurf “protesters” and the goons they send into the streets aren’t going away. They will do one of three things:

1. Find a new “problem” for the idiots to protest against.

2. Go to another town and create the same stupid problems they caused in Minneapolis, including throwing rocks at agents, burning cars, attacking those who disagree with them, etc. The main idea will be to get more of the goons killed.

3. Stay in Minneapolis for a bit. They are well coordinated. The government, state and local, will continue to inform them about ICE/DHS. They’ll continue to clash with even more vigor, since it’s working so far.

Do you get it yet? The whole idea of the pretend protests, whether it’s about Gaza or ICE or BLM or whatever else these shitbirds make up, it’s about creating conflict where there is none. They are creating contrived optics and a false narrative. Are YOU stupid enough to buy into it all?

What the Right should have done! What an adult would have them do. We have few adults available in DC.

I’ve talked about this before. I’ll do so again.

DHS should not have begged and cajoled locals to cooperate while repeatedly getting shot down. As soon as the fake protesters showed up they should have given local authorities an A/B choice…no C. Locals set up a perimeter around every ICE op, or we WILL bring in enough National Guard from nearby Red states to set one up…EVERY DAY. And everyday we’ll remind your people YOU didn’t do it. So traffic hassles and store closings will be your fault. If locals do it, they’ll know how to protect the op with minimal impact.

Any lack of cooperation from them should have IMMEDIATELY resulted in NO cooperation from the federal government. All funding should have been cut off until a pattern of cooperation was established by locals.

ICE is not put on the ground as crowd control. They have a specific job to do. Allowing professional agitators and their goons to get too close to a working ICE op is inherently dangerous to the agents, the suspects AND the goons. If local cops WILL NOT provide crowd control, as they would for a fucking football game, ICE/DHS are obliged to find the people qualified to do it. And that would be the Guard. And the Guard can employ personnel in sufficient numbers to make establishing and expanding perimeters easy.

The ICE work would be efficiently and easily performed. The goons would look stupid yelling at the guard (that’s all they’d be able to do). And future cities where ICE will be operating would not have anything to gain with the Guard and ICE working hand in glove.

Our messaging sucks!

As they did with “affordability”, a stupid, vapid notion by any measure, too many of the nutless, witless GOP have jumped on board with the people talking about ICE “killing” people. The two people killed in altercations with ICE were fully responsible for their own deaths.

Keep in mind as I say this, I am not certain the Pretti shoot was a good one. That remians to be seen. The Good shoot was without doubt a good shoot. I don’t care what the naive Left says about it, you don’t point you car, especially after reversing a bit for a good lineup, at a member of law emforcement and accelerate - EVER.3 Pretti was in the second fight HE managed to start with ICE in a week and brought a gun to a violent situation of HIS making.

Both situations could have been avoided if the lead magnets involved didn’t decide to confront ICE, while agents were doing their jobs, acting as if they gave half a drizzly shit about illegals. They didn’t. They were inserting themselves into a false narrative. AND THEY KNEW IT! The result was two dead goons sent in by the paid AstroTurf organizers.

To believe otherwise, one would have to assume ICE agents left the barn every morning steepling their fingers and twisting their evil mustaches as they planned to go forth and kill innocents. And there are more than a few disingenuous Lefties on the Hill and across the country who would tell you to believe that. But any honest person over the age of 7 knows that is not the case. If the agents were so motivated we’d have had 50 shootings a day.

ICE and DHS officials (NOT TRUMP, FOR CHRISSAKE!) should have made this argument every single day. To warn off the next stupid people and make clear who caused their own demise and how they did so. State clearly that such miscalculations on the part of people interfering with police business CANNOT and SHOULD NOT be the basis for decision making going forward.

The panty-clad would immediately raise a hue and cry about how heartless this is and how the DHS wants to MURDER people. Stick to your guns. The panty-clad are in the minority. The only reason the public at large is now wavering is because weak ass Republicans have pretended to believe the silly shit in an effort to get the media to like them. (see Rush’s admonishment above).

It is at this point you announce the use of the National Guard to create a safe zone between the AstroTurf demonstrators and DHS perconnel. You make it crystal clear that anyone who breaches the perimeter will be endagering themselves, the criminlas being rolled up, National Guard troops and law enforcement. You make it equally clear this CANNOT and will not be tolerated. Violators WILL face arrest and charges, with very high bail requested.

OR

Local police and Sheriff’s departments to create the buffers. But they must commit to being serious about crowd control.

Normal people, this excludes the shitbirds throwing rocks at DHS vehicles, respect a clear message and serious execution of an announced plan. Over 80% of Americans want illegals OUT of the country. If the police (or National Guard if the city in question is run by idiots) and DHS work consistently along the same lines, the shitbirds will tire and/or lose all support for their nonsense.

But telling cities like Minneapolis to give up criminals if we pull ICE out is a foolish move. They cannot be relied upon any more than Putin or the Iranians. We’ll end up with egg on our face and few illegals to show for it. That’s because political whores like Jacob Frey don’t care about rape victims or murder victims, past and future. They don’t care about living conditions in their cities. They damn sure don’t care about American citizens. They care about advancing a warped agenda, personal power and salving their TDS.

The Administration should double down on the crackdown on illegals. Red states and counties should assist by passing laws that make life for illegals as uncomfortable as possible.
