An very interesting PZ
Hey gang. Happy Thanksgiving.
I was surfing golf videos, hoping beyond hope, to improve what is the worst game in human history. I can teach anyone to golf. Just the basics. And they’ll do very well. They can go to charity events or golf outings with clients and they won’t look bad.
HOWEVER…
…when I square off myself against that little white bastard on the course my eye-hand coordination, my motor functions across the board become that of a two year old trying to swing a sledge hammer. This proves the adage: Those who can’t, teach.
So any darn way, while clicking around, I found this Zeihan vid. It has some interesting points. I can’t say I agree with all of the conclusions but I do like the thinking.
Where I disagree most is with this point. Biden is not going to have a second term. That doesn’t necessarily mean Trump will. And Biden will safely keep the nomination. But his campaign will end shortly after that. IT WILL BE THEN that everyone discovers that the poor fella can’t go on. He will have a fall, of some kind of other negative “episode”. He will step down with a heavy heart.
The party “elites” will meet, like the College of Cardinals, and select the new candidate. Primaries Shmimaries. (No! It will not be the cackling idiot.) This person will pretend to demure, while mulling such a weighty twist of fate, and then gleefully grab the gig with both hands. For all we know the ringer may have been chosen already. But Biden WILL NEVER put his hand in the air on the Capitol steps again.
Depending on how pissed the people are about such an arrangement, considering how obvious Joe’s physical and mental impairments have been for the last four years, the next POTUS will either be Trump or the person to be named later.
But as you watch this short video, try to assess which block you fall into. Whichever it may be, I hope you take the voting franchise more seriously than most of your fellow citizens seem to.
Be sure to bring up ALL of this at the dinner table tonight. People LOVE talking about politics at holiday dinner, especially about DJT. …Then tell us where to send the flowers.
