Ron and I will be here on Friday with our final thoughts o the debate from Tuesday night. In the meantime, I thought I’d give you some things to chew on.
First, I want to ding Kammy on her constant “opportunity economy” bullshit. That is a nonsense term. It is a short form “word salad”.
The first thing you need to understand, if you don’t already is that the ONLY economy that is, BY DEFAULT, an opportunity economy is a free market economy. After saying she’ll “create” this (a government can’t do that and if the Dems would leave us alone, we’d still have one) she describes how, by her policies she will wreck opportunity in this country for the forseeable future.
Price controls, government housing projects (new slums), spending out the ass…these are economy killers. These are the things that destroy opportunity across the board. What she describes as her version of an “opportunity economy” is a centrally planned socialist economy!
