If I told. you this was my tree, you guys would go all gooey. You’d click on hugs and love and all the crap. Don’t get me wrong. I love you for that!
The fact is we have a nice tree and gifts. We’ll spend the next few weeks with our kids and grandbabies.
But there are folks whose entire Christmas looks like that little tree. If you know anyone who fits that bill, I want you to knock on their door. Invite them for some nog or cookies. If they are up to it, ask them to dinner.
If you make someone’s Christmas, yours will be the best EVER!
I know what the cynics are thinking. Who did we visit with? I’ll tell you. One neighbor who would be anywhere near this, 94 years old and living alone, has Covid. She’s doing remote visiting. We’re on it. The second oldest (and our best buddy) is visiting her grand kids. She will be here on the 26th to get her gift and hugs.
It’s pretty easy on us. So my suggestion for you might be a bit more of a challenge. But here you have it.
Next year we’ll be checking to see if Dahlgren or A.P.Hill has troops who will miss Christmas or Thanksgiving at home.
