Historical Analysis: NAZI Germany

A quick hit and a 15 minute video

If you don’t enjoy seeking new ways of viewing history (as opposed to revisionist history), then you won’t survive this post and video.

However, if you possess a healthy intellectual curiosity, and wish to see new takes on old information, you’re in the right place.

Niall Ferguson has a fascinating take on how Germany went from the height of it’s social, scientific and economic power and sank into epic depravity.

I only take issue with one broad statement Ferguson makes here. He said the US and Germany both suffered about equally in the Great Depression. We were both industrial powerhouses and had our legs cut out from under us. he then differentiates our reaction to Germany’s in political terms.

I would contentd that while we didn’t falll under the spell of a complete psycho in the early 1930’s, and our society didn’t adapt a hyper militaristic bent, we did react in a very similar way.

In our desparation, we alloed FDR to run roughshod over the economy and gather vast and detrimental power unto a cabal of central planners in the federal government. The policies he put in place were actually a drag on our recovery (a greater crash happened in 1937), and they still haunt us today. We were renderred weak. We were conditioned to kneel before the Nanny State begging for salvation.

With an admnistration so enamored with Stalin and Mussolini, we were fortunate indeed that FDR was a benevolet despot. It could have been much worse.

As an ethical atheist, I would supplant the term “demonic” in the video, with the term debased. Hitler provided an easy path, with easy answers, in an attractive package to a desperate people. But demonic/debased… The result is exactly the same.

Even today, we are not immune from this debasement. Think of Klaus Schwab, son of a prominent NAZI, and a loyal servent of Aparthied South Africa. He’s the same type of man as Hitler, a world class kook, but with modern image makers. He and his merry band of crackpots are CREATING the problems they later hope to use, to be seen as your redeemers.

The difference between Schwab and Hitler is patience. Since the turn of the century, he and the WEF have been recruitung Ivy Leagus Blue bloods, political hacks and bureaucrats throughout all governments to bring his promised dystopia into being. If he is permitted to continue, many of you will clamor to this man, who dresses like a Klingon, for your false salvation.
