Special note to readers.

This could be huge improvement...or a world class disaster

I will go quiet for a few days. I am going to do some work on my Substack which will be a game changer bigger than the audio I am negotiating.

The plan is to marry the old Street Politics content with the newer Substack. If it works you find all kinds of content is suddenly available in a more attractive format! If it doesn’t you may find the site looks pretty much the same and I will be here, at my laptop, cursing a blue streak. The dog will be hiding behind the couch.

You may be thinking, But MJ, why would that be? There are procedures available to do just that! A fair question.

There are procedures for lots of things we do here in the cyber world. It seems things like large file transfers which amount to a series of clicks, don’t work out for me like they do for the other 8 billion people on the planet. It would be fair to say, that with the exception of Substack, I have never had a simple, low-stress experience working online. (I love Substack.) I have countless times followed proscribed procedures that people do every day, almost as easy as breathing, only to end up in a day’s long or week’s long nightmare.

I stopped writing at one point, for a very long time, for that reason. I often say I am as techy as a Luddite.

I am working very hard to provide an enjoyable, informative and productive reading and listening experience. All the old work will open up new doors and allow me to expand on those very works in a way that will let you spot trends. Watching our political zoo unfold as a sequence is a great way to understanding your place in it.
