I just wrapped up an hour with Jeremy Griffith. And I have to honest with you, I assumed from the title is was going to be a Left wing exercise in social platitudes. Perhaps that was just a symptom of my suffering from the ego induced human condition. And I do think now, that there are a few points that could have been made with less repetition and a few feet of video. That said, I do recommend you get through the hour.
I am ordering books from their list and I am hoping this isn’t an exercise in a new version of Scientology. As I listened to the message I thought if you took the ultimate cowboy stereotype, who loved his children unconditionally and the ultimate frontier woman who did the same, you’d have the creature Griffith describes. These types of people live lives without social distraction. Their emotions are pure. They may not be delightful in municipal company, but that is because they live their lives in the beautiful bubble of Griffith’s hypothesis already, for better or worse.
Wish me luck and tell me what you glean from it.
