So, at the last possible moment, the rodents killed 6 of the people they've held since their savage, uncivilized attack on 10/7.
The time for false moralizing should end now. No civilized human being wants the hostages to die. No civilized human being would justify their status as hostage to begin with. But innocent people, if there are any left in Gaza are dying every day.
There's a weird moral equivalence at work, as painful as the options are, that says it's okay for civilians to be killed in the crossfire and Israeli soldiers should be killed or wounded in actions truncated to keep the hostages alive.
If there are opportunites to rescue them, they should be taken. But the only moral objective of war is to eliminate your enemies ability to resist your will. Whatever hostages come home as a result of the war are a happy outcome. But from a moral and practical standpoint, the IDF’s only concern should be the complete extermination of HAMAS.
Whatever deaths have occurred or will occur are the soul responsibility of the Hamas rodents who destroyed Gaza through their own ignorance and inhumanity.
Ideals and good intentions are critical in a civilized society. But when bullets are flying, they can become a burden. They can actually cause far more suffering than is necessary, as we’ve seen over the last year in Gaza.
From the day Israel finally decides enough is enough, we will find ourselves a few short weeks before the recovery of Gaza begins, made clean of the disease that is Hamas.
