So, the government has partially shut down. The manbuns and the blue-haired Karens will be pissing their panties about how Donald Trump wants everyone to DIE because he shut down the government.

They will know, even as the words are coming out of their own mouths that such an assessment is pure bullshit. Chuck Schumer took a load of grief by voting for the last CR. It made not a shit’s worth of difference in anyone’s world that he did. It’s a CR. It’s the same shit it was yesterday.

But everyone wanted a shutdown in March so they could say the same thing they are saying this time. Idiots.

The fact is gutless, witless slouchy, whiney Chuck Schumer read the Lefty, crybaby side of the room and thought he’d get mileage out of triggering a shut down this time. To achieve this, he demanded more then $1 Trillion of new spending in a CR. He knows that’s an idiotic move. It was a poison pill. He made a demand that is not only stupid on its face, he knew it would be rejected by the GOP.

Note to idiots: A CR is not a place where you add a trillion in new spending. The whole CR thing was to make room for those discussions in the actual budget process. Everybody on the Right knows this. Everybody on the Left knows this. Schumer knows this. Even that dull-eyed moron Jeffries knows this. And YOU, no matter who you are, you know this.

So the shut down is ALL on the Dems. So will be the massive permanent layoffs Trump will drop if Schumer and Jeffries don’t grow up real fast.

NOTE TO THE GOP: Don’t back down. Don’t compromise on this! It’s a CR, not a boondoggle.

And now for our first installment of Doublespeak Corner.

I’ve said on more than one occasion that we, the normal people in society, looked on the world of George Orwell’s imagination in horror. The modern Leftist looked at the exact same, imagined world and thought WOW, THIS COULD REALLY WORK! Losers and Takers could have REAL power in this world!

The illiberal, illogical, intellectually dishonest Left, representing MOST of the Dem party, has lived up to every fear characterized in Orwell’s Animal Farm and 1984. Along with their ever-growing penchant or control and obedience, they’ve developed all the rhetorical insanity George used in his book.

War is Peace!

Freedom is Slavery!

Ignorance is Strength!

And they did it without the Ministry of Love (to imprison and torture us). Just using silly Instagram posts and Hollywood show folk, at least half the country has come to see things this nakedly stupid nonsense as…clever.

It’s not entirely the Left’s fault. The Right falls into the trap - or creates occasional falsity to support their agenda as well. “Repeal and Replace Obamacare” in reality became “the GOP can benefit from government controlled medicine too!” But they never said that, of course.

And the whopper of doublespeak, on the Left and Right alike, is the term “peace time”. This is the period from WWII until now. When normal people point out the obvious - the 54 years the US has spent at war since WWII and the 30 years we’ve spent financing and promoting wars - it’s hard to see any of it as “peacetime”.

I’ve had more than one rube correct my assessment by saying the term refers to relative peacetime. We’re not talking grand scale stuff like theater war! I am always heartened at the thought of millions of people being relatively maimed, orphaned, widowed or killed. I’d hate to think they were all grand scale destroyed.

Boomers who like to think the 60’s were unique, because they got on TV, will often say that Vietnam was not an example of peacetime. Very kind of them.

But his kind of doublespeak was already part of the American political zoo, even before Orwell. FDR saved us from the Depression by dragging the Depression on from ‘29 to ‘40, with an extra big crash in ‘37, all of it thanks to Government interference in what should have been an actual recovery. I’ll let you in on a little secret: central planning of economic activity doesn’t work. Not even a little. But MOST people buy this pure fantasy still today.

The reason doublespeak is working my last nerve is that we now see the loony, emotional, witless Left working overtime on the it. You cannot listen to a Lefty, on any given day, discussing current events who doesn’t employ this method of propaganda.

Since Obama hit the scene and destroyed 40 years of super successful progress on race, most people now accept that believing in people and expecting them to try as hard as everyone else is racist. Expecting less of certain minorities, and expecting the least of Black Americans is…equity? Seriously?

Joe Biden’s window licking was his brilliance. Kamala’s endless nonsense was evidence of her joy and intelligence. Riots are mostly peaceful events. Joe’s Nuremberg Rally at Independence Hall was…presidential. Hamas are freedom fighters. Queers for Palestine makes sense. Silence is violence, but calling for violence is the road to peace. Defunding the police will make our streets safe. Boys are girls. Girls are boys. And, of course, disagreement is HATE!

This kind of nonsense was a slowly gestating thing for a while. Then with the dawn of the Age of Trump it ramped up rather quickly and much more vociferously. Since 2016, disagreement with a Lefty, even by a matter of degree, is “fascist” and “hate speech”.

The doublespeak wave reached a crescendo with the ‘24 election. Two facts, whether you like him or not, are true about Trump. His first priority is personal liberty and prosperity. He believes getting government out of the way of the individual is the key. His second priority, a very close second, is peace…everywhere. All this makes him a hater. Personal prosperity, regardless of race, is racist. Peace is hate, or “Putinism”, or Zionism, depending on the target of the peace talk. But it all means hate to the Lefty.

When the Left got slammed in November of ‘24, many leading panty-clad voices all agreed the Left had to throttle back on the crazy if the party was to survive. That lasted about 4 days, at which point they doubled down on all the craziest doublespeak.

For 30 years now, we’ve been hearing about a vast right wing conspiracy. The phrase was coined by BJ Bill’s wife. We’ve been told many times, with increasing frequency, that the Right was a threat to democracy. We heard this while the people who ran Biden’s White House, through his four-year absence, ran one legal scam after another to thwart the political process on a scale not seen in American history. Now Lefties across Europe are doing the same thing to ANY conservative on ANY ballot.

We’re told, as Soros and the Tides Foundation finance organize riots and Antifa attacks through countless “NGOs” and “non-profits”, that the Right-wing violence is the danger we face. Anyone on the actual conservative side is Hitler, a fascist, an existential threat.

This resulted in Charlie’s death in Utah. That was a Lefty goal met. Since, we have people like Matt Gutman saying the murderer was “touching” when he told his furry freak boyfriend that he’d done it. Not to be outdone, Montel Williams characterized it as an act of love by a troubled (22 year old) child! Murder is Love.

As I said previously, I feel certain this is not just mindless rhetoric. It’s Orwellian, intentional and has a purpose. The purpose was met with the first shot at Trump. With that success, the Left increased the “hate” and “threat” nonsense.

Along with all this we have a new twist. This is working out EXACTLY as people like Soros and the dull-eyed moron (Hakeem Jeffries) want it to work out. The NEW twist is using terms like Trans genocide. These already delusional people have party hacks, who claim to care about them, telling them people are KILLING them! Trying to kill them all!! No one is. This is a more nuanced form of doubelspeak. Doublespeak by implication. If someone rejects your worldview it means they are killing you.

As a result, the pathetic delusional trans people have become the new mafia. They are now the fastest growing mass murder segment of the population. That was intentional.

The Lefties use untrue talk about ICE. And that is paying dividends for the Left as well. Attacks and murder attempts on ICE are spiking. The latest talking point being parroted across Lefty land is ICE is kidnapping brown and black people. They are taking them away without a trace. They are taking them to concentration camps. And here’s the latest in doublespeak.

You will see the latest lunatic murderer quoted using phrase “ICE is guilty of HUMAN TRAFFICKING!” YOU WILL SEE LEFTY ELITES SAY IT! Now, the cops actually combating generations of human trafficking are called human traffickers. Using this talk, the Left HOPES to see far more violence and murders of ICE agents.

All of this has the long term goal of provoking a reactions by the Right, so the LEFT can say, “See? We told you conservatives were violent!” So far, none of us have taken the bait.

Solution

You are busy, distracted. I get it. If you are a normal adult who was raised to the Left of Center, and you get all you input from state-run media like CNN or MSNBC, all the Leftist rhetoric I point to here will take effort to objectively absorb - and then correctly reject.

Regardless of your politics, your job, kids, sports, and lesser distractions must be put aside JUST A LITTLE. Make it a practice to drive conversation toward the sane and real. If confronted by the nonsense outlined above, reject it. If that costs you a “friend”, then it costs you nothing, as no friend would abandon you for not saying “boys can be girls and should have their testicles removed.” Would you want that for a friend?

Out of the Blue…

…and apropos of nothing… The House last week held a vote on whether to censure Ilhan Omar. With the sewage she spews routinely, it is amazing they don’t censure her once a week. Even more amazing, the chickenshits in the House even failed to censure this slam dunk.

Perhaps someone can give her a ham sandwich and a scotch and tell her to shut her ugly, goddamn pie hole.
