FOX Hosts a Kammy Stump Speech
FOX accomplished nothing. The American people deserved more.
In the Friday edition of The Jordan/Cori Show I’ll slam the FOX/Kamala debacle. There was so much wrong with it. Bret lost total control of the interview. By pressing so lightly, and allowing Harris to filibuster so many times, just killed the whole point of the exercise.
I’m not saying the Harris didn’t prove herself the empty vessel, many of us know her to be. But by not treating her the way the MSM treats ALL GOP candidates - “No, no, I have to stop you there” Or “I’m going to insist on an answer” - He allowed the spin doctors to convince at least half the country to pretend to believe that Kammy was just terrific.
This was especially true with the question about when she realized Joe Duh was a broccoli. The FACT is she knew it during the transition on late 2020. Joe was already out to lunch during the general election. His brain was pudding. He was EVERYTHING she is now, out of desperation accusing Trump of being. Considering the latest rhetoric her handlers are putting in her mouth in stump speeches, it would have been perfectly appropriate to insist on an actual date, or at least month for her to admit when she knew Joe was a jello brain.
Bret’s job was not to play gotcha. He didn’t have to. His job, as the only potentially honest interview she would have had since 2019, was to show the public who Kamala really is. He even let up on her with the “I feel sorry for them” line, when asking if she should apologize to the victims of illegal immigrant violence. After the second time she said, “I feel sorry for them…”, he should have absolutely accused her of flippant cynicism and repeated the original question.
She answered not a single question, he allowed her to repeatedly turn the argument and risked moving the needle in her favor among the lower 60% of the American intellectual percentile. (Yes, if you thought she pulled it off, I am accusing you of being stupid.). I am also disappointed with Bret.
The entire “interview”, like every single interview she’s given, was just a Kammy stump speech, meekly interrupted by Beir. She never should have been granted such a platform!
