Adam has a Substack
Adam Kinzinger, you may recall, is the guy who cried about the 1/6 mini riot. He touts himself as a military man, but goes to pieces over punks have fights with cops and broken windows. He then abandoned his party, and any principles he had previously claimed, to jump on the TDS train. And I just came across his Substack.
He requires anyone who comments to be a paid subscriber. This stuff is getting carried away. If I paid for every podcast I agreed or disagreed with I’d have been in the poor house a long time ago. So I’ll make my argument here. And Adam, I don’t hide my content OR comments behind a paywall. Any support I get is voluntary when people smash this button.
On 7 March, AK dropped a video discussing Ukraine. Right out of the gate he was spewing propaganda. So, as I’ve done with Robert Reich and Bill Kristol. I will take down AK’s posts one point at a time...until the piece disappears behind the paywall. This will provide brevity and clarity.
Wow! Where to start? No, Ukraine is not “winning” this war. They are fighting brilliantly. They have proven a very tough nut to crack. But they are not killing Russians fast enough to ever be able to declare any kind of victory. And the day will NEVER come when Ukraine marches on and captures Moscow. It is a numerical impossibility. Adam is promoting propaganda by saying Ukraine is wining. In fact, there is very little time left to reach a peace deal that will leave Ukraine in any way intact as a nation and as an economy. People like Adam contribute to Ukraine’s demise by helping to drag this thing on.
People in Ukraine have been dying for nothing in Ukraine since the dam was blown up almost two years ago. Faint and thin as it was, an offensive across the southeast corner of Ukraine was their only hope of inflicting serious damage and winning what still would have been a negotiated peace.
Now Ukrainians die for nothing…for the benefit of our weapons contractors here, and a few corrupt mob bosses over there.
You’re not a bad person if you argue to end senseless, worthless killing. You’re not a puppet of Putin if you understand the military realities on the ground. It is a meat grinder with no justifiable reason to continue.
