Reality vs Ignorance - Israel vs Weak Minds

When you face the world with emotion and historical ignorance you twist your mind and destroy truth. This has to do with the FB linked below the text.

What most people don’t know, because they think history started when they reached puberty, is that Israel has had the olive branch out since 1948. When attacked, they did defeat their enemies quite soundly.

In all cases they could have, with all of history as precedent, annexed all the land they took WHEN THEY WERE ATTACKED, as a permanent part of Israel. They could have expelled or forced compliance from all the people in these places. They didn’t. The only other entity that didn’t do that was the Western Allies in WWII.

Instead Israel has repeatedly tried to give back land and find peace with it’s neighbors and Arabs within their borders. They did have some success with Israeli Arabs. I knew a few when I was there in the 80’s and 90’s. The Arabs in the cities lived as everyone else did. I enjoyed theoir company as well as that of any Israeli.

They did kiss and makeup with Anwar Sadat’s Egypt. And Sadat was once the fiercest of enemies of Israel. He and Menachem Begin shot at each other in a close quarters gun battle in the 50’s. In the process, Begin gave back all of Sinai, one of the most effective defensive boundaries anywhere in the world, in order to find a lasting peace with Egypt. That peace stands today.

They have inked at least four deals with “Palestinians”. Each was followed immediately with intifada and terror attacks. And still they gave up the West Bank and Gaza. The results are the last 30 years of more attacks with 10/7 as the big encore.

As for the rounding up of people mentioned in the link; these were people who were involved in networks dedicated to the destruction of Israel. They were arrested in the act or rolled up through intelligence as they prepared to attack. It’s a tough life for those who insist on keeping the hate and uncivilized behavior going. This would include Yasser Arafat, an Egyptian, who got rich keeping the hate alive and skimming aid money and handling all the illicit drugs, gun running and prostitution in his enclaves.

The Colonization talk is the most ignorant. In 1927, the League of Nations voted to grant Jews a homeland and reverse the diaspora. The entire civilized world agreed this should be an area HELD BY GREAT BRITAIN, in the Middle East, the Jewish “Biblical” homeland should be such a place.

This dream would not be realized again until 1948, when the United Nations voted to do the same thing. (Full disclosure: if I were alive and working for Truman at that time, I would have sided with George Marshall and counseled against recognizing Israel too quickly. But Truman did just that and the AGREED state was established.). It was British held territory, and it was turned over to the Jews. The Brits were the colonizers. Jews just joined fellow Jews, already there, to develop it and make it green. There was no actual, official Arab country or Jewish country in the Middle East at that time. But there were no shortage of schemers, seeking power and wealth, who pretended there was an existing nation. If that was true, it should have been given back to the Ottomans. No, wait… They ceased to exist decades prior. The Turks, maybe?

And for their efforts, Israel gets an unending stream of nonsense like the nonsense we see in the link, and much, MUCH worse. The ignorance of people, especially in the West, is Israel’s worst enemy.
