I think locking arms with Bobby Kennedy was a brilliant move on Trump’s part. I believe credit for the idea goes to Kennedy. I mostly like what I hear about Bobby’s ambitions for his new position. He certainly has the chops for it. He’s been fighting these battles for years.
I DO want to see vaccines studied FOR THE FIRST TIME for safety. I DO want to understand the sudden, dramatic increase in the strange chronic and developmental diseases. Is it from the vaccines? Is it from Teflon, or the aluminum it coats - or both? And of the vaccines, is it the mercury or aluminum in those? Or is it something associated with all that we don’t know about yet?
I have my suspicions about Teflon utensils. For context you can watch Dark Waters on Netflix. But we’ve known that Teflon as monosodiumnastyshit for decades. And I’ll be damned if the expanding vax mandates and broad use of Teflon and cooking with aluminum don’t ALL coincide almost perfectly with increased childhood developmental problems and adult dementia. Conditions nearly unheard of were suddenly common. Rare maladies became the norm. But we love the convenience so much (I know I do) we don’t want to know if it is killing some of us and ruining the lives of so many others.
But somewhere in that mix of aluminum, Teflon and 70+ vaccines for kids, lay the culprits in all this. Finding them will take time. Fixing the problem may be painful. We may be back to cast iron and stainless steel cooking as a result. We may have to accept the risk of a disease in a few hundred people to stop chronic disease or death in millions.
Kennedy wants a deep dive into food additives. I’m okay with that. Many are ONLY used because people like petroleum producers have byproduct to they want to dump on the market for a profit. Red 40 is a prime example. It is utterly unnecessary in food. It’s poison in food. So let’s get it out of food! Some producers say, well, in the amounts we use it in, it shouldn’t be harmful. But then there’s 8 other things our kids are eating that has the same toxic ingredient! Now it is empirically harmful! And that’s just one additive. We have to eliminate these things in batches and watch the results. Certainly we can ban unnecessary things like food dye outright. The government already has the authority.
Have you even considered this?
I was listening to Megyn Kelly last week. Her guest was discussing infertility, weak fertility and IVF. The most significant part of the two hour discussion was when the guest and Kelly both agreed that they were suddenly finding out that many people they knew had to use IVF to have kids. Kelly used IVF as well. “Who knew?” she asked.
Well, the medical profession has known for years. IVF docs knew for certain. They were making a killing on the process. THEY DON’T WANT TO KNOW THE CAUSE OF WIDESPREAD WEAK FERTILITY! It would be bad for business!
As we go through this segment, keep in mind that we cannot breed infertility, but through things like IVF we can and do breed weak fertility. Hold that thought as we proceed.
Like allergies and asthma and Alzheimer’s and autism, infertility was a pretty rare thing. We all knew of one or two couples in our lives that couldn’t have kids. But before the 90’s that was like the asthmatic kid. When boomers were school kids, very few kids had asthma, and air pollution was much worse than it is today. But like treating all the other chronic maladies, fertility treatments are now a booming industry.
Is it 70+ vaxes, modern cooking utensils, food additives? We need to know. We are living in a time then we need to be telling our young adults to BREED, GODDAMMIT! Our demographics are nearly upside down. There is no hope of fixing this as the Boomers age out. But the millennials and their kids can and must fix the issue for their own sake. They need to get the birth rate back up to 2 humans with their own DNA and culture if they are to continue to live in a normal, healthy, productive society.
When it comes to broad-based weak fertility, especially low sperm counts, my money is on shitty nutrition. Lots of food, most of it is overly sweetened, seed oil rich or synthetic garbage.
These empty foods also contribute to child and adult obesity, and likely all manner of internal diseases. So my heart won’t bleed when Kennedy and the FDA team up to simply eliminate them from the food supply. Most of the “pain” involved will simply be inconvenience (your Cap’n Crunch goes off faster - no more buying three different boxes of cereal every week) or your food isn’t as pretty without the dyes. You might stop buying your prepackaged sandwich meats altogether because they don’t taste as good (meat from the deli counter is better for you to varying, but measurable degrees.). It will be an adjustment.
We can also enhance nutrition by having our food subsidies stand alone. This will improve national health before we touch the first nasty additive. Right now you can draw cash on your food stamp card. That has to stop. No junk food or food heavy in additives should be funded by entitlements. Fresh foods and basic non-perishables only. It is an easy thing to do. Make it registered UPC driven. When the party size bag of potato chips is swiped it is flagged and must be paid for in cash. Milk, rice, spuds, veggies, beans…all good. Food stamp recipients will try to find ways to game the system. But the health implications and legal penalties will be on them. If they are too lazy or ignorant to feed their kids properly, they can’t blame anyone but themselves for the outcome.
Where might I part ways with Bobby K?
So far, I am shoulder to shoulder with RFKJ. Junk food and nutrition are low-hanging fruit backed by political whores. We can shame the whores and make rapid progress in this area. And vaccines NEED to be fully tested and analyzed. We do this by eliminating some from the rotation and delaying others while we study them in isolation. If we find them safe and effective, they go back in and others are put on the bench. If we deem, in discussion with clinicians and researchers NOT FUNDED by Pharma, that some vaccines are dicey but worth the risk, we can find the appropriate time to provide them. And that’s not 70+ jabs by the 4th birthday!!!
Not for nuthin’, but I would wager we’ll find vaccines in the rotation that do nothing for the recipient and should be eliminated completely. With the numbers we’re discussing and the total lack of scrutiny to date, I think that is almost inevitable.
But let’s get back to food. The thing I worry about, in the crusade to clean up nutrition, is talk of “soil enhancements” (fertilizers) and the use of pesticides. Don’t get me wrong. I like clean rivers. I don’t like exposure to nasty chemicals (understanding that 99% of that can be washed of a veggie). But Kennedy’s talk of taking back farming 80 years, while possibly sincere, would be a plague level disaster if done too quickly.
Look at Sri Lanka. The WHO and WEF teamed up to make Sri Lanka a socialist and agricultural utopia. The first thing they did was restrict fertilizers and pesticides. They wanted everything to be grown “organically”, which is to say in a way that will starve their population. That is exactly what happened. Yields plummeted. The economy collapsed. Within two years Sri Lanka was on life support.
American farmers are already being harangued to reduce fertilizer. The justification for this is weak at best. It comes mostly from “green” activists whose track record is in the toilet. Most of their crusades are built around honing their political resumes, not helping mankind. Some of what they preach is weak in research. Much else is made up out of whole cloth.
I would caution Kennedy to only move on fertilizer and pesticides AFTER finding substitutes. I do want healthy whole food. But primarily we all want FOOD! It’s nothing for people of means to afford food where even the poorest yields are the norm. But you can’t feed this population, much less the world by “organic” means. Not yet. Pursue the research, of course. When you find something that works without hurting output, put it in the lineup. But don’t pull the trigger too soon.
Some, possibly including Bobby, are still operating on the notion that meat is bad for you. This has been utterly discredited. Carbs for energy are fine, I’m not a puritan. But protein and fats are critical for maximum, efficient nutrition. This country, to grow and be strong, needs MORE meat not less. Do you want to get rid of the growth hormones and antibiotics in meat? Fine. Incentivize ranchers and poultry farmers to make more cows, pigs and chickens - a LOT more. Make MUCH more land available for these purposes. Then you can START to seriously test the elimination of the things we worry about here.
It’s fine if Trump wants to bluster about 500 things at once and keep everyone guessing as to where he intends to go. But the Departments under him need to be smart and deliberative. Diving in with actions on impulse or passion, even if it has become your life’s work, as all this is in Kennedy’s case, will guarantee disasters that far exceed the concerns we have now about what is in our whole food.
In these last two areas, crops and livestock, we must be most careful. Innovations must be thoroughly tested over many years and PROVEN before we GRADUALLY bring them into production.
Remember you heard these warnings here first! It wouldn’t hurt to start emailing and calling the FDA, HHS and Congress with your concerns. Also, at every opportunity, you should head off the political whores. Warn everyone in conversation and on social media that the battle between Kennedy and the whores IS coming. Just pepper you conversation with admonition of caution where messing with volume and yields are concerned. We don’t want to amputate the head to save the kneecap.
