It is finished.

It’s 0202 on Wednesday morning, 6 Nov as I write this. It’s been a long night. The scotch is going down too smoothly and the win feels good.

I should apologize to the followers of the P4B. We had our second live feed set up to cover the returns hours ago (the first was a Zoom feed). Technology failed. Some folks could hear the audio but not comment. Some could comment but had not hear sound. That’s the price for using a Beta package.

That said…

Donald Trump will be the 47th President of the United States. It appears he has both popular and electoral votes. He is to be congratulated. More than that, he is to be admired. There has NEVER been a politician with the stamina and sheer guts of a Donald Trump. TR was a distant second. He had boundless energy on the campaign trail, but he died an old man at 60!

The Donald has endured 9 years of relentless personal, cruel and vile attacks from dishonorable creatures of the swamp. Not enough infamy can be heaped on the Russian hoaxers, Ukraine phone call hoaxers (the main creep is going to Congress), crackhead laptop hoaxers, “good people on both sides” hoaxers. These people are the scum of the earth. They CANNOT be held up to enough ridicule.

A lesser man would have chucked his ambitions for the nation years ago just to shut these ankle biters UP! Not Trump. He hung in. He endured. Along with the wretched nonsense I mentioned above, the man was shot at! He got nicked! Not a few gutsy gamblers would have cashed out in Butler, PA. Trump doubled down - and returned to Butler.

Kudos to folks who endured the slings and arrows of lesser people for supporting Trump. I tip my hat to the black men who looked further than the end of their own noses and ignored the plantation mentality of the Dem tribe and voted for DJT knowing their fortunes lay in being MEN, not being the tools of guilty white liberals.

The same goes to all the other Democrat subsets who realized we are NOT subsets. White, Black, Asian, Hispanic, Gay, Staight, Golfers, Duffers (that’s me); the labels don’t define us. Our actions and guts define us.

But understand this. The battle is not over. In fact, it has just entered a new and uglier phase. The mettle you showed tonight will be tried repeatedly, every day, for the next 4 years - at least. Shallow, ugly bastards like Raskin and Schiff will be talking about - get this - overturning this election. Failing this, and they will, they will spend the next 4 years swearing to god they have evidence that Trump is Mephistopheles.

And, of course, the evidence will not exist. Your friends will tell you to abandon this man. You do so at your peril - at their peril. Teach them.

As I scribble, Trump is getting up to speak. It will likely be a barn burner, they often are. But he earned it. I’ll happily give him his moment.

The real work starts when the transition team sets to work. YOUR real work requires an awareness of what is happening in DC and your hometown. If you let DJT endure all this and win, but you don’t get involved in what is happening down the street from you, you have missed the point of the entire exercise. So, remain aware of what you need to be doing, especially for your family.

But for now, enjoy victory. If he has a sense of humor, call your brother-in-law and tell him you have his “dudes for Kamala” hanging. But be there for him when he needs you to hang some drywall or take his kids home form school. It’s what men do.

And no, the ladies who helped DJT roll to victory are not exempt from the same magnanimous attitude. Your “Karen” BFF from high school still needs a friend. Be that. Don’t exact a price. Just love on her. But bask in the glow of an amazing win.

To EVERYBODY who voted for the Donald, thank you. If he had lost, this website would have intentionally taken a very dark turn. That won’t be necessary. I am grateful. But don’t think the P4B will be any easier on Trump than we were on Cackles and the Wall Banger. We won’t be. But we will be fair and honest in our criticism, as should you be.
